My new truck was damaged by the dealership the day it was delivered. I work out of town, and was not having the best experience. Lassen Auto Body changed all of that. Brittny and her staff were professional and accommodating, while Shane and the boys completely restored my truck to its original, and beautiful condition. Lassen Auto Body treated me like family, and I recommend them to everyone! read more

These people go above and BEYOND for people. Me and my family were on the 139 when a deer popped up, ruining our rental car radiator. After calling 6 representatives (from the rental company) for a tow to get us, Justin got us within an hour. He waited for us to get another rental and made sure we stayed safe the entire time. read more

they went above and beyond for us. We were heading out of state and a deer jumped in front of us totaling our truck. The insurance company wouldn't call us a tow truck-even though we have roadside assistance. Brittany came in after hours to rent us a car. She helped us when our insurance company was falling very short. The insurance company wouldn't acknowledge our car rental even though it showed on our insurance declaration. They helped us get in touch with our person at the insurance company and their supervisor to get the rental car approved before the holiday (Thanksgiving). I would highly recommend them for your towing, car rental and auto body business. read more

I pick up my second vehicle today. I don't even have to see it to know they did an excellent job. Their customer service and talent in the garage is exceptional. They're knowledgably about dealing with insurance companies and are helpful in guiding you through that process. I just really appreciate how informed they kept me and the quality of their work. The best!! read more

Brittany and Shane were so helpful, we would have been stranded without their help! They called around to some local connections and were able to get a part for our car sent up from Reno same-day. Can't thank the Lassen Auto Body team enough for helping us get back on the road safely for the rest of our roadtrip down to Tahoe from Oregon. Would 100% recommend this auto body shop for the quality service, honest price, & quick turnaround time. read more

So I absolutely SMOKED a 4 point Buck (deer) which was very rudely just chillin on the highway. I had previously driven by Lassen Auto Body and noticed they seemed to have newer vehicles in their lot which made me feel comfortable leaving my newer 2018 model Tacoma in their care, and I and went in blind. This shop could not have done more to impress. Any expectations were not only met but quickly surpassed by the awesome staff at this place. First off, the "Front desk" girl, Brittany, is not just a receptionist. Despite working up 'front' she was multitasking and doing the work of 3 people. She provided some of the best customer service I've received anywhere, shop or not. Between dealing with insurance, answering my questions/calls, clearly communicating expected deadlines, reaching out if anything changed, even quickly getting me into a rental when I needed one. She even broke down costs and took the time to research different parts options! I received a call with a whole damn list of grille options to choose from, ensuring they ordered parts and painted things in a way I'd be happy with. This is an uncommon level of customer service and I wish more places had people like this working there. The owner, Ray, seems experienced, chill, friendly, and when I had questions about a small cosmetic issue, he didn't pass me off to other staff, he came out and looked at it with me, displaying not just a willingness but an eagerness to correct anything that could be an issue. Extremely high level of care. And while I didn't really meet any folks in the back, that's obviously where the magic happened and I couldn't be happier with the fit, finish, prep, paint, and reassembly of a very sick lil Tacoma. Highly recommend this place and you can breathe easy if you leave your car here. read more

Lassen Auto Body - My Honda - Body Shops Near Me - Susanville, California

We were towing our 5th wheel trailer from San Diego to Washington state via the 395. About 45 minutes south of Susanville, our rear window on our truck shattered (long story). I found Lassen Auto Body online. I called ahead and learned they did not have windows in stock, but offered to tape up the window for us. We pulled in, they went to work immediately, and we were back on the road in about 5 minutes. Everyone we spoke with was super helpful, friendly, and competent. They didn't have to tape the window for us, but they did, and it saved our trip that day. Very much appreciated! read more

Treated minorities poorly. Slow and costly to fix my bumper, which hit by deer. They charged you extra by ordering parts and picking up from dealership. Brittany, the lady, with no customer service, blaming me on hitting animal when I simply complained they don't get things done on promised time, delayed multiple time and wasted more money on rental car. read more

Lassen Auto Body does great work. They get things done when they say they're going to be done and Brittany is the best!

We needed our truck fixed after an underbody off-road collision with a rock. A big rock. Ray Rice, the owner, offered to hammer out the bent plate so we could get moving again, and get us on our way for $50. Easy peasy as they say. Good people, great service. Highly recommended. read more

Have going to Ray's shop for years for a reason! Ray takes care of his customers! Great customer service, goes above and beyond! Moved from the area and will still take drive back to take my vehicles to him if need be! read more

Their professionalism is impressive. The repair work is great. I am impressed. Ray has been in the business for years and has many loyal customers as a result! He's built quite a full service body shop. When I was on the side of the road with a broken car Lassen Auto Body was my first thought! read more

My family and I were on vacation visiting Lake Almanor from the Bay Area. On our way home we hit a deer, making our vehicle unable to drive. The tow company drove our vehicle to Lassen Auto Body. Brittany and Ray were extremely helpful during a very stressful situation. The two keep in contact with me throughout the entire process, which meant a lot to us being 5 hours away. They had our vehicle finished in a week and a half. I could not be more pleased with the service and craftsmanship that we received from Lassen Auto Body. Charles and Stephanie Darling read more
