After an interior updating in 2017 we were due for an exterior makeover on our home that's 26 years old. Further, when the old siding was removed we found one third of the house didn't have foam insulation and a vapor barrier in back of the siding. Half the siding crew stopped, got the needed materials, and did the job right. Wow! The icing on the cake? On November 10 we had a bad storm come through and we were concerned about hail/storm damage. I contacted Eldridge right away and Chris, our contact person at Eldridge, came out right away and went over the entire house and the house was fine with just a couple of minor dents in the gutters on the west side of the house. One of the best advantages of Eldridge is they work out the paperwork for insurance claims, if necessary. Well done, Eldridge Roofing!

Renaissance Roofing has totally impressed us at every turn! We replaced the 90-year-old tile roof…read moreon our historic landmark Evanston home in 2008 using a local roofer with limited tile experience. Huge mistake. Note to self: CALL AN EXPERT -- CALL RENAISSANCE! Two years later we had some leaks (on the "bad" roof), and an independent inspector verified the tiles had been laid incorrectly. We called Renaissance. They came out and verified what the inspector said, and a few other helpful items as well to tweak. We hired them to remove and re-lay the tiles correctly. There are a lot of technical details underneath the tiles that have to be done properly for the roof (and the house!) to last the next 90 years. Renaissance knows and does it all, from A to Z. Their people are competent, friendly, and professional: from the first person who answers your call; to the knowledgable technicians and supervisors who quote the jobs; to the highly skilled & dependable roofers who do exactly what was quoted and keep the job site neat and clean. It must be a great place to work, because everyone seems happy to interact with us. As if all that wasn't great enough, they educated us on every aspect of owning a house with a tile roof. Along with our roof restoration, we needed new copper gutters. Lo and behold, Renaissance to the Rescue! They manufactured them on-site, which was pretty amazing to see. You wanna talk about some artful flashing too! We called them back to reconfigure our downspouts when backyard flooding required rainwater to be rerouted to another exit location. Once again: superb job done by this company. We've subsequently enrolled in Renaissance's Client Care Club to keep our gutters clean and clear, and to have the pros continually check for any needed repairs (none so far). We've been extremely happy with this continued service, especially after a recent extreme hailstorm. We don't trust anyone but Renaissance up on our roof, and we can't praise their entire operation and services enough. Quality people doing quality work!
