You just follow the signs up the stairs -- and you'll find yourself in a cute and calming, spa-like waiting room. I'd only just sat down when Manell came out to introduce herself, and bring me back to her room. I let Manell know that this was my first time threading, and she walked me through the entire process in an encouraging and professional way. While the sensation is different than waxing, the pain level is about the same (pretty minimal). We did have to pause a few times throughout the appointment because my eyes were watering -- but Manell assured me that was perfectly normal, and continuously supplied tissues for me to use. I was shocked at how fast we were done -- and absolutely loved the results. I also appreciate how natural the whole process is. I hate to be rude and ask for silence, but this just seems like a given to me. Unfortunately, this is the second massage I've had in Cincinnati, and the second time the masseuse has talked throughout the entire thing. Why is this? To make matters worse, they are now constantly spamming my email account with specials and deals. There is no way to unsubscribe, and they put EVERYONE'S email addresses in the "to" line, so first names, last names, and email addresses are visible to everyone on the list. I replied requesting they unsubscribe me and mentioned they may want to at least BCC everyone (a bulk mailer would be more professional). They finally hid email addresses, but I am still receiving the same annoying email over and over again. While everyone who worked there was very nice, and the massage (aside from the talking) was decent, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this email spamming really pushed things over the line for me.
