I think my pedicure was done in like 25 minutes ‍ Pedicure was nice, I would go back for that. However, I had a photoshoot coming up and decided to get my Gel X at this location. I've been to 2 other nail locations in Bakersfield and never really had an issue with Gel X. Typically they've lasted me about 2 weeks+ (standard). I had a bad feeling about coming here when after they affixed the nails on me (glue, UV and all), one flew off as he was filing them. He redid it and we moved on. No more fell off and they looked nice! I really liked the natural look I asked for. After talking with my friend outside, I go pickup my kids from daycare. This is mayyyybe 40min-1hr after leaving the chair. I'm putting my son in his car seat and oop! There goes a nail (not the one originally redone). I haul my kids all the way back for them to fix it. They were all super nice and gave my kids some candy while they waited, which I absolutely appreciated. He fixed my nail up and I was able to make it to my photoshoot with all nails the next day. I got my nails done at 2pm on a Friday. Three days later the following Monday, the next nail pops off. I definitely didn't pay almost $70 for my nails to stay on just for a weekend. I would expect that level of quality from press-ons for $12. I've gone to a salon that literally made my nail beds bleed from a bad manicure, but at least that Gel X stayed on for 2 weeks.
