I went back, but didn't realize that they assign you to any available tech. Let me say that the ambiance of this place is lovely. Very quiet with serene music. However, I wasn't booked with Gia , whom I saw during my first visit. I was booked with Anna. It was not the same as the job that Gia did. Gia is very soft spoken and gentle to the point where she puts you to sleep. Anna is really rough. She kept pulling lashes out and re-positioning them. I can only imagine that's her reasoning for snagging the tweezers on my lashes the entire time! I couldn't even relax, on top of it being ice cold. I already have thick dark lashes so when these fall off, I will see what she was doing. I hope my natural lashes did not get pulled out during this process. read more

Air Lash- 2nd most natural, most popular, darker than mink lash and better for photos than mink, softer to the touch than Babi but looks similar to Babi. Babi- darkest, most dramatic, feels very synthetic, like plastic, good for photos. I just recently switched from Mink to AirLash. I'm glad. I have been to handful of lash techs over the years. My go-to girl is taking a break so I decided to try out this place. Booking an appointment was really easy, just text them what time and day and they'll make it work. There is underground parking so you won't have to worry about looking for street parking! Ana took care of me both times. She is incredibly sweet and light handed. Keep in mind they specialize in individual lashes - no hybrids, no megalashes. They have different lash types for you to choose. I went with airlash C curl my first visit and switched to mink C curls. Both were beautifully done!! I recently broke up with my lash artist of 3 years. I am SO picky about eyelash extensions, but in search for a new artist, Jennifer's photos online caught my attention. I called to make an appointment for a fill, and she informed me that she only does single lashes, not hybrid or volume, which is what I previously had. This would mean that she would have to remove all my existing volume extensions, and start over with a new full set. I reluctantly agreed, and set the appointment for just two days later. Jennifer's studio is on the second floor of a large complex in K-Town. She works with several other girls, each with their own small private rooms. The space is very bare bones, but clean. We started my appointment on time, and finished in 90 minutes. Yes, that's right, Jennifer removed all of my old lashes and banged out a full set in 90 minutes. Even better was the price-$128, including removal. I was previously paying $100 per FILL, each of which took about 2 hours. I am going to save so much time and money going to Jennifer! Plus, my lashes have never looked better. I went with the Babi style of lashes, which look wispy and natural, but appear as if I am wearing makeup when I'm not lol. I got them 9 days ago now, and none have fallen out yet! Though, when they do, it will look better than volume lash fallout, which leaves big spaces that are sometimes hard to hide. But, I'm really glad I found Jennifer because I can't imagine life without lash extensions anymore. She's very respectful and detail oriented. She'll first assess the condition of my lashes and advise if I should get a full set or a fill. I personally prefer a full set over fills because my natural lashes are very thin and by the fourth week, they tangle very easily. Got my lashes done by Jennifer for my honeymoon 3 weeks and 2 days ago. I'm so surprised that they still look good and even though lashes have fallen out gradually, there aren't any big chunks missing and it doesn't look sparse even after 3 weeks. This place does deserve the reviews it gets. I went in and was assisted by Ana. We walked into the room and she showed me all the options. She went over which type is suited for which eye shape. All in all, I was in and out in an hour or so. No pain, no infection. She was incredibly light handed. I went for the air lashes to give me that dark eyeliner look. 10-12 to give me the drama. I'm writing this review after at the three week mark. So, I'm due for a re-fill. But considering, my extensions are really well intact. Take into account that I work out and have gone swimming in them once or twice in the three week period. I also haven't had any of my real lashes break or fall off from the extensions. I do use a lash brush and brush them on the daily. They easily comb through. Although, they are on the pricey side compares to several places in the SGV, their natural individual style is well worth the investment. *note: they only do individual lashes. So don't expect to come in hoping to leave with incredibly dramatic ABG lashes. They don't really increase the fullness of the lashes, as the "fullness"'is based off the natural fullness of your real lashes combined with the extension. read more

I've been a client here since 2018 and although I've tried other places out, I think Jennifer is the best at what she does. She never uses too much glue, the eyelashes last and are great quality - and for me at least, she gives me exactly the look I want. There are some negative reviews on here about her scheduling. Yes, you absolutely should try to book at least a week ahead because she's that good. Sometimes she'll be able to fit you in if she has a cancelation, but it's not something you can count on. As for deposits, she's never asked me for one, but I know if you request a particularly early time, or if you have to cancel a lot because of your own schedule changing a lot, she might. I think that's perfectly reasonable considering she's a mom who travels 2 hours to get to her workplace. Leaving at 530am, and having someone not show at 730, you might require deposits in the future. Also, the difference between a fill and new set is 10 dollars. She's hardly pushing for a new set just to make 10 extra dollars. Anyway, I felt compelled to write this review because I read some of the negative reviews on here about Jennifer and her business, and as a long time customer, I thought I would counter some of that negativity with what I've experienced. Doing lash extensions is hard work and I can't imagine doing that sort of detailed work all day. I fully appreciate how Jennifer takes care every time so there are no issues whatsoever with my natural lashes and I love the natural look that she gives me! read more

5 stars for Gia's work, and for Jennifer's awesome customer service/scheduling! I was nervous about getting lash extensions because I have thin, short, straight lashes and I have monolids. I thought extensions would end up looking too dramatic on me. But after finding Jennifer's Yelp page and seeing some of the more natural looking results, I decided to give it a try. Gia did an amazing job! She explained the whole process to me and answered all of my questions. There was no pain or pulling or discomfort at all. Wonderful service! Lashes by Jennifer is always very organized, clean, and they take care of my eyelashes with extreme care. I have visited many eyelash extensions in various areas but chose this one as my permanent place! I've been to this place twice: once last month, and once today. Jennifer helped me the first time, and Gia helped me the next. First of all, their response times on Yelp and text are both extremely fast. Scheduling an appointment is easy and they are accommodating so they are great on communication! Jennifer is really quick at replying through texts, and also is there to answer any questions I have after with after care, pricing, etc. I got the mink lashes. They gave a walkthrough of which lashes to choose from with the length and comparisons, so I was able to happily make my own choice, instead of usually just letting the technician choose what looks best on me. Both were great on the application and very gentle: I would fall asleep during the sessions. Jennifer was nice in that the next time I texted her for a follow up appointment, she also kept track of when I last had a lash appointment, as well as what lashes I used the previous time.
