Nina was SUPER personable and did an amazing job on my nails (as you can see). Her work space was very clean too. I will definitely be going back next year on vacation and would recommend Nina to anyone looking for a great manicure. :-)

My eyebrows color asymmetric. The left side is much lighter than the right. It is obvious. My coworkers and friends notice it. I told Nina about the different shade of my brows. She didnot sound care. She did not offer to check on me to see it herself, instead she asked me to make appointment for trimming brows and do the touch up with fee 150 USD. I was disappointed with her reaction. I cancelled my appointment for touch up . I am disappointed and upset with what she had done to my eyebrows. Now, i have asymmetric color of eyebrows. It makes me self counscious about my appearance when I am in make up free. I have to do some brush to match the color since. I am surprised in the smiling face of her, she has a disappointed customer service. She never apologize nor made time nor offer to check about my eyebrow problem. I will not recommend her for anybody for her beauty service. She needs to learn about business service ethics rather than just thinking about money. She cares more about how much money she will get from customer rather than offer good customer service to make a lasting customer.

I came in yesterday to get a pedicure with my mother-in-law and it was a horrible experience. I've…read morebeen to CT many times before, but it seems like all the good nail techs have left. I had a heavier set woman with dark hair that was dyed blonde in some places, I did not catch her name, however she was horrible. First, she asked me if the water was too hot and I told her it was actually cold. She adjusted it and then it still remained cold. I paid for the Tropical Pedicure which included callus removal, but all that was used was jelly and a pumice stone and all calluses are still present even after I asked her to do whatever she needed to do make sure they are all gone because I wear heels for work and my feet needed the extra mile. For $77 with 20% tip this is just crazy to me. Then, when she was opening the new packet of tools to perform the pedicure she dropped an instrument on the ground (which was dirty as heck) and picked it back up, didn't sanitize it and it had other peoples hair hanging off it, which she used her gloved hand to remove and yet she continued with the dirty tool anyway. During the nail polish process she started out by wearing gloves, and then decided to take the gloves off and use her own finger nails to dig the pooling nail polish from my toenails. I walked out with streaky off-white nails from poor application, and my pinky toe on my right foot has so much polish on that it looks like a huge glob sitting on top of my toenail. For reference: my appointment was at 1:00PM, I paid for the Tropical Pedicure, and gel nail polish in off-white.

I started with a mani/pedi by Tanya she did a fantastic job with the shellac. I think this is the first time I haven't had any smudges or rippling! Next was my full body wax by Rhonda and Nicole. These women worked tandem on me keeping light and enjoyable conversation. I really loved having them both work on me. It made the process go by so quick! They kept a close eye on what was waxed and added soothing creams as needed. I have to take a moment to speak on the stand out work of Rhonda's Brazilian wax she took time to work out ingrown hair and did so with deft hands. I highly recommend her for working on such a sensitive area. Your goods will be in good hands! Finally Nicole finished my day with a lux facial while Rhonda massaged my feet and hands. I have never had much experience with facials so this was an enjoyable experience! My face was left feeling firm and fresh. I love how healthy it looks and feels. I was also treated to snacks and a lunch which were HEAVENLY! I recommend this shop to anyone needing time to feel revitalized. The staff is amazing and though the accommodations can seem small at times the decor is inviting and cozy! Thank you a million times over to the White Sands Tanning and Salon staff. You gave me a welcome home I will always treasure.
