It was $39 with a discount for checking in on Yelp. The basic pedicure is $30 but I wanted to follow the golden rule of, Treat yo self. My feet were given the royal treatment. Lots of scrubbing, massaging and lotions. I was very thrilled at my techs care and precision. She was seated behind a plexiglas divider for added protection. I came in for a fill on a set that was only two weeks old, but I felt the service was rushed and that the technician did what he wanted rather than listening to what I asked for. I was also surprised by the price. I was charged $130 for a fill, and when I mentioned to the girl at checkout that I was only getting a refill, she told me that a fill and a new set are the same price, which I found very hard to believe. Although I paid the $130, I was so unhappy with the results that I removed the nails later that same day. I left feeling heartbroken and disappointed. I was visiting a friend and asked her about hers. She said I have to get mine done, come with me. We arrived at Rio nails rather late with her 2 daughters in tow plus the baby. I asked for artificial nails and she sat me down and proceeded to work. There was a rather large gap between what she added and my cuticle. She claimed she could not go closer. I have had my nails done since the 80's. I have never had an issue like this. The woman had a huge attitude also. As I suspected, she deliberately shorted the nails so I would return sooner. In the many years I have had my nails done, I have had them last 6 weeks, usually 8 before a redo. My nails just do not grow. Here it is 3 weeks, and these are lifting. No, not on your life would I ever return to this place. 1. attitude. The woman was outright rude to me, ordering that I control the kids. They are not my kids 2. refusing to do an adequate job, Arrogant attitude when I asked about what she was doing. and 3. Price! $76!!! I am furious. I feel cheated.
