They told me colors change and that they have no powder gel that is in the realm of light pink. I wish they said that before. The renovations they've done are beautiful and have made the space even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Fashion Spa, especially if you're lucky enough to book with Olivia!

The outdoor sale sign is just bait - don't fall for it…read more I went there during the afternoon on a weekday because I was impressed by the outdoor sale sign showing mani plus pedi for $38 Monday through Thursday before 3 pm. The service was good but their business practices are atrocious. It's clear that they have no intention of sticking to the sale. As soon as I entered they were upselling. Warning: if you say yes to anything they offer, you opt out of the sale and they charge you the menu prices. This is what they want. They want few customers to actually get the sale. So I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. They should have charged the sale price for the regular pedicure or make it clear (aka verbalize) that I would be opting out by adding gel to my manicure. I expected to pay the difference for the gel manicure but still pay the sale price for the regular pedicure. And when I asked about it, the manager started speaking so loudly in an attempt to embarrass me by getting everyone in the salon to turn and look at me. Rude attitude. I paid them the full price (and tipped because the nail tech was good) but I won't be going back.

The space only accommodates a few people at a time and the experience is very personal and relaxing. Mariana and Mary own and operate the business (which I love) and have been providing nail services for 30 years! They are extremely detailed, professional and take much pride in their work. Their service is very high quality..I've honestly never had so much dead skin scraped off my foot at one time..my skin feels so soft and smooth, and my nails look very neat and clean. During my time at Mardo, it became clear that the owners are some of the most kind and genuine people out there. I learned very quickly why customers love them. Everyone who walked in the door was greeted as a friend and it was refreshing to engage in conversation, both with the owners and the other women receiving services. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place! Loved the mani/pedi I received and really enjoyed my time spent at the salon. Will definitely be back! Her nail work is mediocre, yet she blatantly counts tips in front of customers and gives nasty looks--even when given a generous $14 tip on a manicure. The final straw was last Christmas when they gave regular clients holiday gifts. Annie's terrible attitude ruins this business. We won't be back.
