I clearly requested light brown, natural-looking brows to match my hair color, and Emma assured me that's exactly what she would do. Unfortunately, the results were the opposite -- my brows were tinted jet black, nothing close to what I asked for. When I expressed my concern, Emma's explanation was that my skin was dry and absorbed the dye, which I did not find to be an acceptable or professional response. To make matters worse, the waxing left my face severely red with small sores that are still present more than 24 hours later with no improvement. I paid $95.00 for a service that did not deliver what was promised and has left me with visible skin damage. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had anywhere. Save yourself the embarrassment and pain and don't go here! This is in response to Emma's comments Your comments are fabricated. You did try to lighten it but it clearly didn't work. I was obviously upset. You instructed me to go home and use shampoo on my brows to try and lighten them. I feel like my review was honest and fair. I didn't mention how you texted me the morning of to change the time of my appointment 30 minutes later. Or how you asked me "If i'd ever come back." Your comments only confirm my statement that it's the worst experience ever! Shame on you!

After going back and forth for several hours, they rescheduled an appointment on my behalf without confirming, before the time that I stated I was able to make it and STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE FOR A SERVICE THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. I have contacted my bank to be issued a refund. In addition, the fall out was much worse than any ever studio I have ever been to. I was even charged less for a fill on occasion due to needing to come back after less than 2 weeks. Incredibly frustrating, and HIGHLY disappointing experience. Well below what should be quality. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I actually discovered Suzie a while ago but didn't end up scheduling until sometime later (last month). So far, I've had two sessions with Suzie and her work is as-expected in terms of quality, speed, and professionalism. Price-wise, she is on par with others that are certified in the area. What Suzie stands out for is her actual studio, personality, and other "personal" touches. Hands down, Suzie has the cleanest, prettiest, and most calming studio / beauty salon I've been to (and I've been to 4 different lash ladies before her!). I think this reflects how Suzie is both as a person and as a beauty professional. Suzie is super sweet and nice to chat with, which is great when passing time during the lash fills. I can tell she listens and cares for her clients! For instance, she asked me why I stopped getting extensions as she was concerned about any allergies. I told her I don't have any allergies (to the glue), but that my lashes just became weak overtime. I was glad when she told me my lashes are not "as bad" as I keep thinking and that she has seen "worse"! Suzie also provides a cute care package with maintenance instructions, pricing, and two spoolies for brushing your lashes. Furthermore, her salon has lash-related products in her store, such as lash shampoo and a lash brush (sturdier version, not the ones that you can throw away/one-use). I bought lash shampoo during my first visit and they've definitely helped keep my lashes clean! Another thing that stood out to me is that Suzie encourages using lash serums! I told her that I was advised in the past that that wasn't OK to do. She said, "Nope, that's a lie." That stuck with me since I knew my lashes were taking a beating from the extensions, and was disappointed when I was told I (apparently) couldn't use lash serum with extensions. I knew that it would be a lot of upkeep, but I did not know it would be ADDICTING. My eyeballs just feel so NAKED without my eyelash extensions done by Cheryl. I naturally I have very thin/fine hair, so my eyelashes are obsolete. I usually have to wear eye liner/makeup to enhance my eyes, but NOT ANYMORE! Cheryl was taking private clients only, but she has now opened up a new lash room in Poway. She shares a cute office with another gal, and has a huge, private, comfortable room for you to lay in during your lash session. She is very meticulous with her work, and she will take the time to make sure your lashes look beautiful. She has been trained by a Celebrity Lash Extension-er (if that's the term), using a different and more effective technique for the extensions. She has always been able to squeeze me in despite her busy schedule. My lashes ALWAYS look so beautiful and natural when I leave her place. She uses a great glue that stays at least 2-3 weeks, that you CAN get wet (disclosure: I'm not saying go diving, surfing, or scrub your face off in the shower. But, my lashes have graciously stayed on after 2 weeks, with 1 week in pools/oceans of Riviera Maya, MX). She keeps me entertained during my lash sessions with stimulating conversations, but also lets me take naps when I've had a long day. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Her prices are BEYOND affordable. She is by far the best deal I've found on lash extensions. Stop reading, and just TEXT/CALL her already!
