I explained that I would be starting chemo and would likely lose my eyebrows. Carolina was incredibly understanding and made me feel like any other client--no judgment, no awkwardness, just kindness and professionalism. She did a fabulous job, and I was so impressed with my brows. Because of my treatment, I wasn't able to return for my touch-up within their normal timeframe. After completing chemo, I called and spoke with Brad, explained my circumstances, and he was extremely understanding and graciously made an exception for me. When I returned to Carolina, I had lost all of my eyebrow hair. She once again did an amazing job. When I looked in the mirror, I had tears in my eyes because for the first time in five months, I felt like I looked like myself again. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. The service at Mila Aesthetics is impeccable, but what stands out even more is how kind, humble, compassionate, and understanding they are. The shaping itself came out really nice -- I actually loved how my brows looked in the end. Clean, defined, and exactly the look I was going for. However, my main concern was with the tinting process. I was told the tint would be left on for about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30 minutes without any heads up or explanation. During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.

I've been a customer of Mallyna for about two years but today was my final day as a patron…read more Yesterday i got a classic set of lashes. Early this morning I woke up barely able to open my eyes. Most of my lashes had fallen put and I was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. It was about two hours until they could fit me in to remove my lashes. At first the manager pulled me aside and tried to minimize my reaction, claiming it was dust that somehow caused this. After consulting with an outside lash tech, she said that the only thing this could be was expired products since I've had lashes for two years and never experienced this before. Finally, the manager conceded that it was a bad reaction but would only offer a new set, no refunds, as she stated she didn't have money to pay her staff without my payment essentially. At the end of the day, my lash removal was free but my $125 was apparently my contribution to their apparently thin margins. I think it's unfortunate that this happened to me, I'm just happy to not have lost eyesight over this fiasco. If I were you, I wouldn't risk it here. They seem to be cutting corners with (what I assume is) expired products and a slim ability to pay their people despite their high prices set to customers.

Created her own shape and did not follow the natural shape of my eyebrows. I left this place crying and upset. I feel so ugly. Trying to fix these with makeup doesn't even make them look good. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY. Not sure why someone would take 75% of my eyebrows off but this was a horrible experience.
