I have been going to Lash Cafe for lashes for nine months now and have had nothing but wonderful experiences!! I used the Groupon for my first visit and Cynthia was super informative and helpful. She showed me pictures and explained the different styles of lashes. She explained that the group on set only included 50 lashes-which is not that many- so I upgraded and it was SO WORTH IT! I was immediatelhooked and I've been coming back to Cynthia ever since. She's amazing, she listens to what I like and always delivers. My lashes always look so good and I always get compliments on them! Request her because the attention to detail is amazing. You also get a reminder text the day before and an hour before your appointment, as well as an email the day before, which I love because I have a crazy busy schedule. I would give it more than 5 starts if I could. Love the girls at lash cafe! UPDATE: it has now been over a year that I have been going to get my eyelashes done with Cynthia at eyelash cafe! I love her so much and she does amazing work. I still get so many compliments on a weekly basis on my eyelashes. I have only had wonderful experiences there. I have very sensitive eyes and their high quality products work great. I have upgraded from the classic to the hybrid and they are even more beautiful! Sylvia has been doing my lashes for 4 years. She is the very best! You can try one of those salons where the prices are cheap and the people are not certified but don't expect your eyelashes to look natural. I don't wear mascara any longer. I don't need to anymore. My lashes look beautiful when I wake up in the morning and when I go to sleep at night. I can swim, ski, run, sleep...WHATEVER and my eyes ALWAYS look beautiful. After you've tried the cheap substitutes, come try the REAL DEAL. A MASTER STYLIST. She has always been the consummate professional and I've moved with her twice now. Sylvia is great! She is a true artist and takes pride in her work. I love the high quality of lashes she uses and have received a ton of compliments on them...even from friends who have lash extensions from other local salons. I also had my eyebrows, eyeliner and lips completed with permanent makeup. Sylvia did a great job in making it look very natural. It has saved me so much time getting ready in the morning and when I work out in the evenings I don't have make up dripping down my face. I no longer leave lipstick on coffee cups at work or on wine glasses. I imagine I will save money in the long run by not purchasing makeup. 11 days ago Sylvia did my semi permanent eyebrow makeup - the healing is near complete and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! She used the hair-stroke technique and they look absolutely natural! Will be going in for my touch up appointment at the 3-4 week mark, as expected (minor color touch up in areas only I notice that faded a bit more than the rest). Sylvia and her staff were very professional and friendly. Sylvia was a blast, personable and (obviously) knows what she is doing. She listened to what I wanted, added her own suggestions based on her experience and the results exceeded my expectations! I have been looking for someone to do my lashes since the person doing mine moved away. I found a Groupon of Lash Cafe & Spa, researched them, and made an appointment for lashes. When I arrived, I noticed they did permanent makeup and micro blading as well. I questioned Sylvia about these services and ended up doing permanent eye liner, micro blading my brows, and getting the lashes that I originally wanted (I upgraded the Groupon from the 50 lashes it was good for to the 'fluffy' lashes). This is the first time I have done anything other than lashes and I couldn't be happier. As well as being very personable, Sylvia is an artist takes pride in her craft. My first try with lash extensions on Saturday. My hairdresser recommended Slyvia at the Lash Café & Spa - she had the extensions and they were very nicely done. The salon is clean and overall the experience was relaxing, though I was apprehensive. I have a fair complexion and the look is very dramatic, so I will be considering the other options or if there is a choice of black/brown rather than black, but that is just personal preference as to how you want to look. The one thing that really stands out is the quality of Sylvia's work. She is a perfectionist and the lashes were perfectly applied. I didn't know what to expect, but I was really impressed. I love my hair stroke permanent eyebrows! I was hesitent to get it done, and it took me 4 month to actually decide. My fears were the bad eyebrow jobs I've seen done from other places, and everytime I see a bad eyebrow job it reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld of Uncle Leo. Everytime I go to see Marisol to get my lashes done she always makes sure that I am comfortable and that I am happy with the service that she has rendered. Tessa at Lash Cafe has been doing my lashes for 2 years and has done an excellent thorough job. My lashes look wonderful and last a long time even though I work out and sweat everyday. I rarely have even one lash out of place. Everyone who I have ever referred LOVES her. The earlier bad review was someone trying to get too much for too little investment. If you pay for 50 lashes with Groupon then that's what you should expect - a little starter set to try lashes out. A full set is what you should have ordered.
