Went in for my first laser hair removal appointment kind of nervous, but the staff were so kind and knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly which made me feel super comfortable. The procedure itself was super quick (small area) and I was in and out of there within 15-20mins all together! By far the best experience i had compared to the first one. It was my second session but the girl who helped me I believe it was Melissa was amazing. Very cautious about my pain levels kept asking if I was doing good or if I needed a break, very friendly and gentle with the laser removal. Kept a good conversation and made me feel comfortable during my service there. I got my underarms and Brazilian done and she was getting every follicle of hair possible that she seen. I was terribly disappointed in my cool sculpting results! If anything it made my stomach look worse! I now have a crease on the middle of my abdomen that was not there before. I feel that cool sculpting is a serious scam for what they charge. I would not recommend cool sculpting in general, but Laser Away did not seem to care nor did they follow up to even see if I was satisfied with my results. They basically took my money and washed their hands of me. So disappointed and regret ever getting this done! read more

Don't waste your money or your time. I've had a far more favorable outcome with fewer laser treatments at Mystique Medical spa. After 10 facial treatments at Laser Away, I have more hair now than before. Laser Away's solution is to buy more treatments. Really? Why would I do that when the first 10 weren't effective? Also, nurses need some training on best practices when taking photos of delicate areas. read more

Upon arrival for my laser hair removal appointment I was 6 minutes late, I was greeted by the receptionist who informed me that they had already marked me down as a "no show" and was ultimately turned away. Very very disappointed after driving across town during my lunch break that I wasn't able to be seen for an appointment that typically takes a few minutes. When I asked the receptionist if there was anything I could do, she said, "no, you have to reschedule." She did not apologize and appeared annoyed. The girls at LaserAway in San Diego are a lot more pleasant and accommodating. read more

She didn't rush and took her time! She also made sure to look at my laser history and increase the intensity based upon that. Over that, she is very kind and helpful. I was delighted when I learned not too long ago the City of Clovis was getting our own Laser Away!!! My first appointment at the Clovis shop was the morning. A bright sunny location for this clean modern shop. Everyone I encountered here this morning had such a welcoming positive and professional attitude. Rebecca called me prior to my appointment to go over health info. Charisse met at the front desk. She was informative and positive. Emilee, the RN performing the procedure for me today did excellent work while explaining the process and aftercare. All of these women are well trained and knowledgeable and can tell you all about the different procedures, treatments, and products. I highly recommend the Laser Away in Clovis. I was afraid of the pain being too much to handle beca I do not take well to pain but surprisingly I was able to tolerate it as it does not hurt as bad as I thought it would. The time it took to get laser hair treatment was short and I was in and out and keep in mind that the small amount of pain is worth being hair free or hairless in the places you don't want it. The results vary from person to person, but let me tell you I have very coarse thick hairs and they were falling off left and right after the first treatment. So far so good. can't wait till my next session. read more

Today I had my first appointment for Clear and Brilliant treatment and it couldn't have gone any better! I arrived and was greeted by a friendly, young lady (sorry, I don't remember her name). She explained what the process was going to entail and welcomed me for my very first visit. She took time with me to answer any questions I had and I appreciated her friendly demeanor. I waited 30 minutes for the numbing cream to kick in (in my own private room with a tv and comfy couch), and after that nurse Denise took me to my room where the treatment would take place. She told me to get comfortable and again, was super friendly and kind. She asked my skin concerns and I told her and since my scarred up skin from acne makes me very self conscious the best thing about this visit is that I never felt any sort of judgement from anyone and I felt comfortable the whole time. I cannot say enough nice things about nurse Denise, she was tremendous, explaining every bit of the process and what to expect. I look forward to my next treatment and recommend this place to anyone who might be on the fence about it. read more
