I purchased a package and had my appointment, then encouraged a friend to book afterward since she was on the fence. She signed a few days later and was offered a better deal that included additional areas for significantly less money. I understand promotions change, but there was no transparency that a significantly better offer was coming so soon. Once they get their money they literally don't care about customers at all. I paid for a full syringe of juvaderm beginning of may and I got the first half injected. I keep scheduling an appointment to get the rest of the syringe I paid for and they keep rescheduling it saying the nurse called out. Now the syringe has been open for over a month. They say it expires after a month and they're still telling me I can't come in. Avoid at all cost cause they will just take your money and provide no actual service. There's also no price transparency. They quoted me full price at $500 but I just got a text from them for a "deal quoting a full syringe at $460 saying full price is $700. I have not done business with LaserAway however I did inquire about pricing. I had someone text to schedule a call. I'm giving the company as a whole a 1 star on how poorly this "salesperson " did. She did not ask questions, instead she talked incessantly about features and benefits. When I told her I don't need to be sold on the product itself she pivoted to how passionate she is about what she does-- I don't care. I specifically told her my main concern was how easy is it to do business if I buy a package and am not happy. She rambled and made statements/promises that I feel she wouldn't put in writing if it came down to it. She came across way too eager, pushy and failed to figure out what's holding me back from doing business with her. If only she asked more calibrated questions. She didnt follow and I'm glad I waited. Update: I was ask to complete a survey of my visit; I shared everything thing that happened, how I was treated and spoken to and the fact I was lied to about some of what I was there to receive treatment for that had been paid for, that I was supposed to get done at that 4 hour long visit that wasn't done and that I was not informed ahead of time would not be able to have done because of broken machine and that the location manager Toran refused to credit my account when ask considering I'd only been able to use 1 of 12 visits and especially since the service can't be done at all nor do they know when it will be able to be done and as of yet no one higher up has tried to reach out to resolve any of these issues. LASER AWAY IS A SCAM! I was initially researching laser hair removal due to the severe and persistent razor burn I had been experiencing, seeking a permanent solution to this issue. After interacting with one of Laser Away's advertisements, I was contacted by a sales representative. During our conversation, I inquired whether laser hair removal would be effective for my red/blonde hair. She assured me that Laser Away's lasers were capable of treating all hair types. Prior to my second treatment, I was asked to provide feedback on my initial session. I informed the staff that I had not observed any noticeable improvement. The lead esthetician responded by explaining that, due to the lighter color of my hair, the results might take longer. I was not questioned again regarding the results of my treatments until my sixth session. At that time, when I again indicated that I had seen no improvement, the receptionist directed me to consult with the esthetician. It was during this appointment that a different esthetician informed me laser hair removal would never work on my hair type. Had I been made aware of this limitation from the start, I would not have proceeded with these painful treatments, which have shown no results. When I raised this concern with Laser Away and asked to be refunded, I was told that the second esthetician's opinion was irrelevant because the lead esthetician had previously stated that results might take longer, but would ultimately be achieved. It seems more like the second esthetician wasn't comfortable lying to customers. When I purchased this treatment package, I was explicitly promised that I would be hair-free after eight sessions. Now, however, I am being told that I might be hair-free after eight sessions or I might not and that I may need to purchase additional sessions to reach hair free results. They are trying to scam me out of even more money! The sales practices employed by Laser Away are grossly misleading, and I am left with the impression that I was intentionally not asked about my results to avoid refunding me. SCAM COMPANY- DO NOT FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP!!! This is a lengthy review, but please read it to save yourself from stress and falling into this fraudulent company's scams!! So I had a consultation with Laseraway through phone, and ultimately was rushed into signing a contract with them. Apparently when searching for laser hair removal treatments- they show up first (as sponsored)- I browsed their website for a little only to be called shortly after. I hadn't realized it was Laseraway since I had been looking into other laser hair removal websites and wasn't expecting a call so soon. But that led me into a saleswomen who was very pushy, claiming I wouldn't find a better deal anywhere else- I thought it was a good deal so I didn't want to miss out-- my mistake. She sent over some documents over the phone, and I had filled them out- overlooking the payment agreement. A day later I did some research on Laseraway and found a lot of reviews I did not like- it made me question their quality of work and it seemed like a lot of people had been scammed in signing a contract with them. So I reached out to Laseraway- requesting to cancel my appointments and that I was no longer interested in investing with them (THE DAY AFTER I SIGNED). They refused to help me out, claiming I already signed and that I could only be refunded with in-store credits, which is ridiculous. Mind you- I hadn't even received any treatments from them!! I did some more research to see if anyone else has had this problem with Laseraway, and there were a lot of familiar stories. I took their advice and filed a dispute with the loan company (Alphaeon) and thankfully after about 2 weeks, received the results today of the dispute- they found the dispute in my favor and I do not have to pay this fraudulent company!!! "Danielle" from accounting is a snake and tried to scam me into paying an invoice to them (in full) for $3,500 when I filed the dispute and sent this message- "You are receiving an invoice that needs to be paid in full for us to release the funds to Alphaeon and approve your dispute. Once that is paid we can approve and process that for you. It's been sent via email." She was out of her mind thinking I was going to pay IN FULL, SERVICES I HAD NOT RECEIVED AND DID NOT WANT TO RECEIVE!!! Laseraway clearly had already spent the money loaned by the credit card company and wanted me to pay my dispute...SCAM!!!! I discontinued contact with "Danielle" from accounting and just waited for the results of the dispute, and I'm so glad I did. Please do not fall into this trap like I did and do thorough research on any company you're about to invest in. I love the concept but unfortunately the execution is poor. Once you commit to a package, they don't care about customer service one bit. I bought a very comprehensive package so my services are longer. They intentionally double book and give shorter appointments priority so every time I am seen 20 min late. I purchased a $3,400 filler and botox package and had an appointment on 18 March. At 6:30pm the night before they called to cancel and offered another appointment on the 28th where I am unavailable. Considering the short/late cancellation notice I decided to cancel the package entirely. As I result, reps from Laseraway called me and tried to reschedule parts of the treatment on the same day, or other days. I was offered an incentive if I go through with the treatments, and when I stated firmly that I want a refund, I was told I can only get one for medical reasons. There exists absolutely no contract between me and Laseraway with specific details on cancellations and refunds. When I stated that, I was referred to the website where there is a small paragraph to this fact. I told them that that is not acceptable and hardly ethical and continued to demand a refund. I then was told on Friday that a rep. from the Finance Department will call regarding the package, but of course nobody called. Today I was given another round of "we will contact you in the near future" from their person answering the call at headquarters. In the meantime I also received a booking confirmation for their office in Texas... I live in Charlotte. Filed a complaint with the BBB and could not believe my eyes when I saw all these complaints, unbelievable. There is no way they can stick a needle in my face, EVER. I did receive a full refund. Not certain if this was the result of my consistency about declining further service and requesting the refund or my complaint to the BBB. I'm gonna give this 1 star for the sake of the sales people...Let me start with the laser service is good, all the techs i've had (there were many and switched just about every-time i went so clearly there's issues behind the scenes here) were nice and thorough. I have blonde hair so it is already fairly fine but this helped me have way less hair. I've been done my services for a little while now and I am still happy with my results, it has made a huge improvement in my daily routines. Where I really had an issue that I think needs to be addressed in some manner is with the sales people (front desk). While I clearly understand this is a sales position and they clearly need to sell sell sell...Some of them take this to a level that I deem fairly inappropriate. Several times after my session I was told about a maintenance package and I thought about it and decided ultimately it was not the right time for me to buy this....this is not cheap. When I said this to the people at the front desk not only did they continue to try to convince me but also try to manipulate me and tell me I'm only seeing results cause I'm going as often as I am and there are always specials going on "only for today" but I have been told that at least 3 times so far. The people at the front desk are manipulative and outright rude, they always have a horrible attitude and if I wasn't locked into the package from the beginning, I certainly wouldn't be continuing to come back. I will definitely NOT be doing a maintenance package here and will be doing it elsewhere if I ever decide I need one. I'm about 6 months out of it and still seeing my results. It's been long enough since my last appointment for me to see the true results of my 8 treatment package, and give an honest review of my experience. I can genuinely say that I am extremely disappointed. The last session of my treatment package was the first time I went to this location after they opened. I was a little nervous because I am a black woman, and not everyone knows how to effectively treat brown skin tones. My time here was alright, but the treatment felt much more rushed than it usually did at other locations and I don't feel like I was treated as efficiently. I noticed significantly less shedding ten days after this session than I had at previous sessions, and what's even worse is I started noticing not only darker hair that should have been gone, but more of it. The settings the technician used were so low that they stimulated more hair growth instead of eliminating it, which is extremely disheartening after going through 8 painful sessions and spending more than $3500 on this service.
