First appointment was for less than 10 minutes and were asked to do antibiotics, again. Her GP already tried this before referring out to here. Second visit, again no more than 10 minutes for him to say she needs minor surgery. On the second visit the office hounded me to reschedule calling the Friday before, the morning of and then about noon with her appointment at 345. They booked her visit during "procedure" time. We were told to make appointment for the procedure on the second visit and did for today 2/10. When arriving this morning we were told it was actually for tomorrow 2/11. This is after I called to confirm and got the automated message confirming 2/10. The front desk staff needs training in customer service badly. When leaving the on the second visit I had to tell them about the procedure scheduling. She argued with my daughter this morning that she booked it for 2/11 and that we got it wrong. We are done with this place. Two visits, no results. Nothing more than any walk in clinic could do.

I was assured that my skin tone, hair texture, and ethnicity would not be an issue and was even told that my dark hair should respond well to the treatment. After completing six sessions, I saw little to no noticeable reduction in hair growth. Throughout the process, it became increasingly apparent that treating women with my skin tone and hair type was not something this business had significant experience with. Despite following the recommended treatment plan and attending multiple appointments, I did not receive the results I was promised. Because I was not seeing any improvement, I canceled my final two appointments. When I called, the receptionist apologized and stated that a manager would contact me. The manager did reach out, apologized for my experience, and told me she would speak with the laser technician to review my progress and treatment history. Unfortunately, after that conversation, I never heard back. There was no follow-up, no explanation, no concern for the lack of results, and no effort to address my experience. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of results, but the lack of customer care. Once my concerns were raised, communication completely stopped. It left me feeling as though the focus was on collecting payments rather than ensuring clients achieve successful outcomes. Based on my personal experience, I would encourage women of color, particularly African-American women with coarse hair, to thoroughly research a provider's experience treating diverse skin tones and hair types before committing to a treatment package. Took a few days off work to recover. Treatment was very painful and felt as if staff was annoyed that I was uncomfortable and could not relax. Two months later booked a follow up as I saw ZERO results. Dr Rosten actually agreed and suggested I do additional treatments at additional costs and time off work. When I mentioned that it was getting pricey, she shrugged and said it does cost a lot to look good. Will be seeking out more compassionate med spa or just stick with my wrinkles!

I regret coming here…read more I got Smart Lipo done in 2023 on my lower and upper abdomen. I was told that the cost of the procedure would include the medications and anything I needed for my recovery. During my procedure I was given Lidocaine (which was my first time) and about half way is when I already used my limited amount. I went through the rest of the procedure without it. I was in immense pain but advised them to keep going. My recovery process was longer than I expected but I did everything they recommended with the lymphatic massages that that offered only a certain amount after surgery. I even continued the massages on my own and paid out of pocket to help anymore drainage. I was provided a slip, foam, and board the first half of my recovery when I was extremely inflamed and swollen for this time but overtime continued to heal and drain more of the fluids out. The other half of my recovery I asked for a smaller size in the slip because I could not get enough compression from the old one. They told me that they could not provide me but I could buy my own which was between $80-$100 for a new one. A YEAR after the procedure is when I was supposed to see my full results and I addressed my concerns that I had 4 months into my recovery that they said they would wait until I'm fully recovered to look at. The areas that they missed during my operation and even told me during every check up that they could always go back in and get when I was fully heal. When I brought up this topic again they gave me another quote stating it would be more money even though they admitted they did miss it during my first operation. I would not recommend the Smart Lipo to anyone who just wants a quick solution to flat stomach. By the time you go through the procedure and recovery then you could have already paid for a personal trainer and gym membership that still came out cheaper. This procedure will DESTROY your core and will have to slowly build it back up if you are already active.
