I have been coming to laser plus spa since 2010 for laser tattoo removals. The staff have been excellent to work with including the owner and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The pricing structure per session for the removal is better than going to a dermatologist and to any other laser spa I have been to. I have had a total of 4 sessions on one arm and 3 sessions on the other. The process has been working really well and I am very happy with my results. To be warned the laser is very discomforting and can hurt a lot. To avoid this, I recommend using ice before the treatment as well as some sort of numbing cream. The woman that does my treatment is very courteous and makes sure I am as comfortable as I can be during each session. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo removal. read more

This review is for their new Carle Place location. Went during Spa week, had the 30 min, Swedish massage (I wished it was longer) and had LHR on half legs (Groupon deal) and underarm. I can't remember the laser used, but the woman I had seemed very inexperienced as she had to wait for another co-worker to set up the machine and she had trouble with the wand going over my legs. 5 more sessions to go! read more

I had a great experience here with Kenny (I believe that is the owner's name) and Denise - the lovely woman who performed my laser treatment. A few things that I like about this place....I live in Queens, and I had previously gotten laser hair removal on my face at a spa in Manhattan (over 5 years ago). Obviously, there was no parking, and the prices were much much higher. I purposely looked for a spa in Long Island for the parking lol. But I was pleasantly surprised by everything. The office is very clean and attractive. The staff is very nice. I heard the women working at reception constantly on the phone following up with customers, confirming appointments, and asking how clients were feeling. The owner who spoke to me was very kind and thorough. Denise who did my laser treatment was the best. She made sure the process was as painless as possible. At the previous spa I went to they just went straight to the laser. Denise applied gel and ice to numb the area. I barely felt a thing, and there was absolutely no reaction...and my skin is super pale and sensitive. They even called me the following day to check to see how I was feeling. The bad parts: The small waiting room is loud and nerve racking because of the never-ending blair of the television video advertising Laser Plus services. (They even blast it outside the store front, so there's no escaping it.) While the staff members were polite, I felt rushed through the consultation, which was more of a sales pitch than anything else. Had someone sat down with me, talked to me, listened to me, even checked out my problem areas, they could have set up a programs for me and made a lot of money. Because I felt so rushed, I decided to use my coupon and be done with it. The good part: The technician who administered my treatment was sweet, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She didn't push products or treatments on me. She also was very straightforward about what she was qualified and not qualified to advise me about. So, turn off that television, take the time to listen to and advise potential clients, don't worry about selling packages, and people will line up for services. PS: I'd also consider moving out of that strip mall (whew). read more

Love this place! Just go and get a facial, actually I recommend a massage, you'll see what relaxation really means. I've gotten Deep pore facials there and they work, my skin feels and looks beautiful after. I go for the body massages there when my back hurts. You feel like a new person after a Deep Tissue Massage. The prices are really reasonable and they always have new packages and offers. I recommend this place and their other location in Carle Place. They are very accommodating because if one is closer to your home and the other one to your job they allow you to switch locations with no problem. So far, I cannot complain about this place and do not understand the negative reviews. I'm currently getting laser hair removal for my legs. The "man in the suit" that some complain about, is actually very informative. He gives you several print outs and flyers on the service you are interested in and he also takes all the time you need to inform you about everything to expect from your service, the tools used, the possible side effects, and all the statistics. He doesn't let you leave with any questions, and he also does not force a service. He actually recommends that you take time to think about everything discussed in the consultation before deciding to go forward with a treatment. I did not find that he was trying to "sell me" on the hair removal, but rather thoroughly inform me before spending hundreds of dollars. He really, really helped me learn about the specifics of laser hair removal. I am now going on my third session and I see results already. However be warned, it is different for everyone. Some people need more than 6 sessions and they make you very aware of this. My hair grows back much slower and in patches, some areas of my legs don't grow hair for a week whereas my hair would grow overnight on my legs. Melissa is awesome. Before my first session began, she made sure I was 100% comfortable and provided me with all information I needed. I'm only 20 years old and I have never done anything like this so I really appreciate her being so informative and helpful. After my first session I did receive swollen red bumps on my legs due to the hair follicles being irritated. They went away on their own and I haven't had any other issues. Melissa was very helpful in telling me how to care for the bumps- I have sensitive legs so I knew I would get some type of reaction. Overall, staff is friendly, place is clean and beautiful, and laser hair removal is so far successful. I definitely recommend requesting Melissa for services. read more

I can't say enough good things about Laser Plus Spa. I first came here to get a facial a couple of years ago when they were running a Spa Week special, and I've been back many times since. First, I'll address the staff. The ladies that work at the front desk are so nice and friendly. This may not seem like a huge deal to some people, but a rude receptionist could really put a damper on a relaxing spa day. Every time I come here or call they are always happy to help and explain any services that I'm interested in/what would benefit me the most. I've been going to Jennifer for the past few months for facials as well as the Clear and Brilliant treatment. She's AMAZING. I've spent years and years going to different spas and dermatologists for my skin and nothing has ever worked. Jennifer not only knew exactly which treatments would work for me, but she also has given me great tips on how to take care of my skin at home to keep it looking great in between visits. You can tell she really cares about her clients and their results. Now onto the actual services. I've gotten radiance facials and pumpkin facials (I may have gotten others when I first came here a few years ago, but these are what I remember). I've had great results from these facials and the experience is extremely relaxing. I also have had 4 treatments of the Clear and Brilliant. This has seriously saved my skin. I was a little nervous at first because it is a laser treatment, but it has been pretty painless and the results are great. Everyone has been telling me how great my skin looks lately. i purchased the groupon for juvederm and omg I'm so happy!ive had my lips done before so I've learned the differences between good and subpar.The place itself is super nice and they serve mimosas in the waiting room which is just fabulous to me lol.I didn't wait very long at all.The man who did the injections was very professional and polite.I highly recommend trying this place out,I'm so happy with my lips.They aren't lumpy or uneven and they look exactly how i wanted.I think I'm gonna come back soon for a facial! read more

They do a very good body massage and have a nice ongoing special of $99 for a massage and facial. However, don't be foolish enough to think that the facials include extractions, shockingly they do not. The facial is average and simply not effective without extractions, the micro add-on is nice and worth it. I've also had teeth whitening done here when they were running a special and frankly didn't think it was worth it, as they only whiten your front teeth. I have a broad smile and wound up going to my dentist to have the rest of my teeth done as I thought it looked silly to have super white front teeth and side teeth 2 shades darker. I have not tried their body treatments, however am considering the scrub for beach season. They have reasonable prices and the location is clean. Don't book your appointment at night as it can be hard to park when everyone is off from work. read more

My mom and I have been clients of laser plus for quite some time now. I'm 25 years old and the past year I've been doing vela shape with Jen who is the absolute best! I have been so lucky to have had Jen guide me and truly made me see amazing results. I had cellulite on my thighs and butt area (not really bad, but those dimples and bumps still made me feel insecure in a bikini) and after about 5 months in my cellulite has completely gone away everywhere. My skin is smooth and there is not a mark on it!! I do keep up with the vela shape but I honestly feel like I'm a perfect candidate for it. I didn't want anything "permanent" but the results are completely noticeable and Jen has helped me achieve these goals and made me feel that much better about myself. I went here for laser lipo (zerona) the staff is great very clean and inviting place. But after the recommended 6treatments within a 2 week period with the Zerona I saw no results at all very disappointed. Thank god I didn't pay thousands cause I bought the groupon for 4 sessions and received 1/2 off on my remaining 2 sessions. Might return for massage of facial. read more

I got all my laser hair treatments done at the location in Bellmore. I had my neck and side burns done. After all my treatments were done all my hair came back. I am shaving almost everyday now. It was a waste of time and MONEY! The ladies at the front desk were rude and though they were better then you. I would never go back or tell someone to go there. This place is horrible and has young catty girls doing the treatments. They are very unprofessional at this office. They promise you things and that is not the case. They try to sell you their products which are a hoax and don't work. This place deserves no stars!!!! read more
