Make sure to place a reservation on OpenTable! It was my cousin and I last night in Puerto Rico, earlier that day she went to get her makeup done, and the makeup artist recommended LasDos Fridas. Once we arrived the ambiance in the restaurant was beautifully executed. As a fan of Freida Kahlo, loved the details around the restaurant including the pillows on the seat that had face or a doll like. We went for the full course meal, the food was 10/10. I did not get a chance to take many pictures because the food just was so good. I definitely would recommend this place!!

What an amazing experience!!! My sister and I were looking for somewhere nice to eat on our last night in PR, she was suggesting STK but I wanted to support local. I stumbled across this place on open table but had no idea it was going to be as amazing as it was! When we arrived we were a bit nervous, the windows were blacked out so you couldn't see inside and when we opened the door it was pretty empty. We were greeted by Luis who ended up being our server who was so amazing and really added to the overall experience! Once we sat down we realized how amazing the ambiance was, we were not expecting an immersive experience. So many details and special touches! The food...OMG...THE FOOD!!! My sister had the garlic shrimp and mixed vegetables, I had the lamb, mixed veggies and the pasta carbonara as suggested by Luis. My first bite was a potato in the mixed veggies and it was seasoned to perfection! I knew then if a simple veggie dish tasted good, i was in for a treat! The lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection! So good i had to get every bit of meat off the bone! The carbonara was amazing!!!! It was a star in an of itself!! Sooooo good!! I have eaten at a lot of high end steakhouses that could not touch the amazing flavors of this place! I don't understand why it wasn't packed in here. Even the drinks were delicious and creative. At home the drinks with presentation like this cost 10 times as much. Everything about this place was amazing! When the bill came we played a guessing game on our total...we were waaaaaaaay off! I couldn't believe how reasonable the cost was for everything we received compared to what I have had to pay at other places in the states who can't even compare to the amazing experience we had. 1000 out of 10 for this place! I will definitely be visiting every time I am in PR and recommending this place to anyone going to PR! Thank you for making our last night so memorable!

I'm definitely an art enthusiast so this was a must! All of the decor was Frida themed and inspired. The night we dined there was a violinist playing for some of the time. Our server and the bartender were attentive and so kind. She made a special mocktail just for me and it was delicious! Almost everything the table ordered was great. I ordered the salmon and honestly wish I had gotten something else. Skip it and opt for one of the pastas or the steak ! Do not skip the garden salad that was so good. Overall great experience. Watch my video for more deets!

A charming Frida Kahlo-themed restaurant! There are a lot of things to like, and a few to improve. Starting with likes: the garlic bread biscuit creations at the start were surprisingly good! Service was prompt and not overbearing. The drinks were actually great; each one seemed to have a special presentation like a glass dome of cinnamon smoke for the old fashioned. The thick asparagus were cooked perfectly and very satisfying. Some things to improve: the meat was very very salty. The lamb especially was so salty that it actually messed with the flavor of the meat itself. The arancini tasted very good, but ate a little heavy--a marinara or something similar to cut the fat would be a great condiment on the side. The meatballs could use a bit more seasoning. Overall, fantastic place to grab drinks and have a bite or two. Just needs a little refinement to meet the price tag for the food. Thank you for having us.

This restaurant is a one of a kind experience. This is in the top three of the best steak dinners that I've ever had. I mean, every single word as I type it I didn't even need steak sauce, the butter, the herbs, the garlic, the risotto Even down to the drink I had that meal was top tier! The servers match the food and they are genuinely nice people. I have not one complaint other than the fact that this isn't in Atlanta The owner came out and spoke to us and she was so warm nice and offered to cook specific things that weren't on the menu the next time I visit! I've never in all my years of dining had a dining experience so unique so flavorful and so memorable! I will never forget about this. If you see this restaurant come across your timeline literally RUN THERE if you haven't been there. I don't know what you're doing like she put Puerto Rico on the map when it comes to a restaurant and how you're supposed to run things. The chef and owner set a standard so high. I didn't even get a picture of the steak. That's how good it was like. It was a ribeye though. Lol next time I'm in town I'm trying the filet! I can't wait to return!

Food was good and steak tasted amazing but garlicky. If you don't care for garlic I would not recommend the mash potatoes. Service was good I was celebrating my birthday and when I stepped away my boyfriend said the server asked which dessert should be brought for the celebration and he picked the caramel cheesecake which was good and I could tell it was homemade. But that celebration dessert was also on the check so just a heads up. The restaurant was beautiful inside and dark the immersive experience was a cool aspect!

Oscar was very attentive and informative. Food was amazing but the best part was the dessert. The bread pudding is my wife's go to dessert and omg. It was perfect and probably the best we have had ever. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's definitely a romantic and upscale setting but with a cool, modern vibe. Thanks for the meal and your service Oscar.

A vegan walks into a steakhouse for an immersive dinner experience in honor of Mexican icon Frida Kahlo and becomes a momentary vegetarian to enjoy the experience. Angel the host and server was great, thoughtful and attentive. Kenia the chef came out to connect with all clients and spent time getting to know each of us. Vegetarian options were plentiful, a few vegan options. The dessert options were well worth eating dairy and playing vegetarian. Highly recommend, I did not leave hungry. The decor was amazing.

The Two Fridas Las Dos Fridas

LasDos Fridas Steakhouse was made by love, and you will immediately be able to tell. With an ambiance that is meant to take you away from the outside world to the amazing food that you will think about when you think of San Juan. The service was welcoming and professional, you will be thankful that you decided to visit. The restaurant was a wonderful love letter to Frida Kahlo, an iconic painter who left a beautiful and fierce mark on the world.

First of all this place was a viiibe! I loved the atmosphere. My family of 20 traveled to Puerto Rico from California and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Overall a 10/10 experience.

El Vino Crudo - Beetroot ice cream and olive oil cake

If you're a lover of Italian small plates with distinctive flair and/or a curated wine list filled…read morewith exotic grapes and niche finds, you should definitely give El Vino Crudo a try. It's a cozy little restaurant that was perfect for our recent short stay in Old San Juan. I was impressed with the wine list, which featured sparkling, white, orange, rose, and red options by the glass and of course a more extensive list of bottles. I opted for two different sparkling options, a Pineau d'Aunis (rose) from the Loire Valley (strawberry notes) and a Verdeca (white) from Puglia (melon, white flowers). I drink a lot of wine and have never heard of these grapes at all, so they were fun to check out and delicious to boot. We also tried a number of different bites. They were all good, but these were the most memorable: Apio gnocchi - delightfully pillowy and nutty Dulce de papaya and prosciutto - lightly sweet and savory all at once. This might be an even better version of the more popular prosciutto and melon dish. Partamra olive oil cake - so lemony and moist Beet ice cream - this was wild! For sure my first time trying beet ice cream. It was barely sweet and had a very thick, almost custard-like texture. Special shout out to the staff, who were all so nice and chill and knowledgeable.

I had an awesome palate experience. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. We tried…read morealmost all the entrees

AMBIANCE: Parking: Welcome to Old San Juan, it get get pretty busy - best to carpool or do public transportation. Seating: Indoor seating or private cabana set ups for groups. Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: Welcome to Old San Juan, a mix of touristy and culture. The spot itself is popular for locals and tourists. As for the space itself, what's unique about this spot is this place isn't just one bar. It's actually a series of connected rooms (about 6-7 different spaces), each with its own vibe - speak easy, dance, casual, house, live music and more! I'm surprised each room can contain it's sounds while maintaining its own energy. It feels like a speakeasy maze meets nightlife experience. Dim lighting, vintage touches, and just enough chaos in a good way. DRINKS/EXPERIENCE It was such a fun night, not sure what I ordered but there is an abundance of flavors as every room has different selections. But popular drinks if you're looking for guidance - lavendar mule, espresso martini, a classic mojito. They got the classic to your well-crafted cocktails. Some spots provide food while others is sip and chill or sip and dance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fast-paced but solid. Staff keeps up with the crowd and still manages to be engaging. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! Good choices, reasonable prices, and a vibe like no other. As a gemini that can be quite indecisive, I enjoyed this spot - especially with its multiple options. This is more than a bar - it's an experience. A spot where the night can go longer than expected. TIPS: * Walk through ALL the rooms--you'll miss half the experience if you don't
