The food is pretty decent if you dine in, we ate outside on the patio because it was a nice day. We had to track down the manager to pay. Every time we've ordered takeout, something's missing, like the extra taco we paid for, extra salsa, where we only got a cup with 3 tablespoons & a half bag of chips. We called the manager & he said he would add us to the list for the next time we dine there. We don't want to go back for food because it was so bland & think about it, they have a list for screwed up orders. The server was unfamiliar with the menu when I asked whether rice and beans were included with my meal. She told me they were not, so I ordered an additional side to go with my quesadilla. After waiting about 35 minutes for the food, I noticed that rice and beans actually did come with the meal. I told her I no longer needed the extra plate, and while she was holding it, she said she would just leave it and remove it from my receipt. However, when the check came, I was still charged for the additional rice and beans. I reminded her of what she had said, but she denied it. I then asked to speak with a manager, and unfortunately that interaction was also disappointing. The manager was rude and said she would only remove the charge if I returned the rice and beans. The food and drink portions were good but the service is inconsistent. I waited after 2 visits to make a fair review. The first visit was with my book club and they only provided one waitress for a party over 15 and she tried her best on a Sunday but needed help. I went on a Saturday with my hubby and service was better just couldn't look past the dirty booth and sticky menu. Overall, it was a good experience and better but room for improvement. The new location right up the street from the old location is just as nice. I sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender. She was super attentive and friendly. They had the game on and the music playing as well as a lengthy menu with so many options. I usually cannot pass up Angel's plate... But then I met Miguel! lol. This quessadilla was amazing! Anything with chorizo in the mix and you have my attention. My blackberry margarita was good and strong and my friend loved her michelada. The food was just okay, and I love Mexican food and feel like it hard to mess it up. Let's start with the customer service. We sat at the bar thinking we should get the best hands-on service, WRONG!!! took forever to just get some chips and salsa, and even for the bartender to acknowledge us, then the $14 margarita swirl literally tasted like ice water. I decided that it was time for me to buy a new car so we headed out to the Kia dealership south of Atlanta now this drive to the Kia dealership was about 47 minutes so naturally after purchasing my car we decided to grab something to eat before heading back to the city. Our server came to the table, a young lady unfortunately I do not remember her name as she spoke very fast and let us know that her shift was ending and that she wanted to get this check taken care of. Now being in the food industry, I know how important it is to give quality service so that your tipped well however she told us that she wanted to go ahead and close our check out quickly to get her tips so that she could go home with us to enjoy lunch and celebrate me buying a new car and did not want to be rushed. We gave her past and we decided to go ahead and order everything at one time. Decided to order spinach, dip, and chicken tacos and my friend ordered steak fajitas! Now normally I say you can never go wrong with spinach dip however it seems as though whoever was in the kitchen was cooking a bit fast and didn't want to season this spinach dip, unfortunately, that followed with our entrées as well Had to server for more salt and pepper along with a couple of sauces because the chicken had no seasoning on it and my friend also mentioned that her steak fajitas were also bland. The highlight of the meal would be the Margarita. We decided to get a picture of Margarita as we thought we would be sitting there for a while, talking and catching up and this Margarita did not disappoint haha. When it was time to pay, I decided to cover the entire check so I gave the waitress my card after about 10 minutes. I realized that the waitress hadn't come back and when we talked to the manager, she said that she had clocked out however she never brought a receipt and she never brought my card back, so unfortunately, this visit was not the best. The host came over and said she saw our faces and wanted to make sure everything was OK. She gave us to go boxes refilled our drinks and told us to please give them a try again and I really appreciate that. Because I live in the city, I typically don't go outside of the city too far to get food unless I really enjoy the place. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I usually come here every other week after service -- at least -- and it's always been one of my favorite spots. But today was terrible. The server and manager clearly didn't care at all. My food took way longer than usual, and when it finally came out, the presentation looked completely thrown together. When I mentioned the issues, they just stared and gave a half-hearted apology. The food was just as bad -- soggy fries, cold thick queso, no flavor, no seasoning. Everything looked and tasted like it was thrown together last minute. My server dropped off our drinks and disappeared. My drink was empty, the chip basket was empty, and we just sat there waiting while the restaurant was practically empty. I initially started towards the movies but my brother refused to go with me to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice so we stopped in for a wind down. It was a Friday and not crowded which was good. Therefore, we were sat fast. I ordered Queso with Chirizo which was okay. The Mango Watermelon Margarita was literally watered down when I got it. I asked for light ice but I dealt with it. My main meal Fiesta Plate was okay but no grilled steak or chicken so no flavor. I sauced it up with salsa ( I guess) it had the contents of picante sauce. That added some zest. My brother ordered hot wings which honestly came out less than 10 minutes from Ailene putting in the order. There was only hotwing sauce and no flavor. The wings had the soft loose skin which means they were baked in the oven ot not fried well done. If you are gonna sell wings in the wing capital, at least perfect the craft. Maybe the Margaritas could have either used puree or agave for flavor. Use a blender or chop ingredients for salsa. This is a place I would eat at if all other spots were ridiculously crowded. The hostess greeted us then asked if we wanted real or plastic utensils and sat us at our booth. Our server came over with chips and salsa, and took our drink orders, two waters and two large frozen Texas margaritas. We looked over the menu while we waited for our drinks. The server came back with our large delicious looking drinks. We both ordered the shrimp fajita quesadilla (my bf loves to copy me lol). Great Mexican food! My wife and I consider it a treat whenever we are in the Morrow area to stop by and get tacos. My favorite are the fish tacos. The are big and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant is very friendly, and although we get take out orders I look forward to sitting at the bar and ordering a drink while listening to customers enjoy themselves, or as I watch a sports program in one of the many big screen tv's while waiting for my order. Long story short, I ate here for lunch today. I thought my order was supposed to have jalapeños in it, but they weren't. So I asked for a side order. I ate a few out of the bowl and put the rest in a to go container. Later, when I went to open them to eat them, I saw a roach on the top laying an egg. I closed the lid and drove back to the restaurant. The manager didn't apologize he just told me that I couldn't prove I got the jalapeños from there. I was enraged. He had the nerve to offer me free food. I said absolutely not you have roaches. He said we don't we're clean. He finally gave me my money back but took the food and trashed it but not before I got a picture. He also took my receipt and threw it away. When I asked for it for proof that I was there he said no because now the visit was void. I had a worker dig out the trash because tomorrow I'm calling the health department and the reporter that reports on nasty restaurants. Don't eat here period!! read more

I've passed by here many times, but never thought to stop in. I was doing some shopping in the area with my mom and she suggested that we have dinner here. The restaurant is large and wasn't crowded at all on a Thursday evening. Alcohol was one of the things I gave up for lent, so I didn't partake in a margarita. Instead, I opted for a watermelon agua fresca. It was very watered down and didn't have much watermelon flavor at all. My mom enjoyed her Bob Marley cocktail. I studied the menu in the parking lot before coming in so that I would know what I wanted off the bat. I'd come back just for this dish. The server seemed bored due to it being slow and checked on me about 3x's (a bit much). It made me feel rushed. This was my first time trying this place, I eat out in Atlanta 4-5x a week and usually have much better experiences. Considering it's a Saturday, it was still not great service. I at a table since the bar was full but I was seated for almost 30 minutes before the server came by to take my order. I ordered tacos and an appetizer, it took about 20 minutes for the drink and appetizer to come out. After sitting for an hour I got my tacos but it was missing salsa. Went here yesterday on a lunch break to pick up food. Customer Service was so bad. I stood at the counter waiting for someone to come over for about 15 min. Made eye contact with several staff in between this time. The restaurant was not busy at all. It wasn't until I walked up to the person at the bar to ask for help, that they said they could help me and walked me BACK over to where I was standing to take my order. This person was extremely rude taking my order. Then I waited for about 30 more min for food to be brought out. The order was missing some things, there was no itemized receipt. So I had to wait again, just for all that to be corrected. They don't answer the phone when u call. I even called while I was standing there just to see what would happen. But the food was mediocre as someone who is Mexican, this food is not authentic Mexican food it's definitely Tex-Mex or just American honestly. The rice was under cooked and over cooked at the same time, the garlic shrimp was not good and also not authentically made. The steak was also bad not seasoned well and just had a bunch of onions and mushrooms over powering it. It was also pretty pricey.
