Very hefty & satisfying so don't worry you'll get your $4 worth of burrito. He was already out of brisket when I arrived at 12:15 so it must be just as good as the burrito I had. I couldn't tell if it was the beans or the meat that had a slight hint of chili powder or possibly some chorizo in there but it was different and tasty. I will update my review with more stars once I'm able to try the rest of the menu. My only problem is BYT is only open from 7am to 2pm and I work out of town. I will make another attempt later this week to try the brisket. My only recommendation is to get a little old Mexican lady to make some home made tortillas. The torts aren't bad just not home made. While my chicken fried steak was just a little bit overcooked and hard to slice into with the provided plastic knife, it was still Southern-style delicious with the cream gravy, mashed potatoes, a fresh roll, green beans with real bacon bits, and a huge brownie on the side with a bottled water ($15). The owner was such a friendly, generous person. She was outside her food truck - not trailer - during this lunchtime event talking to folks waiting in line. Her employees/helpers were very amicable too. I've always heard great things about this food truck, but never had the opportunity to visit it. So glad I did. MaMa E's was established in 2018. Their motto is "where you can taste love in the grub." That's for sure! Their setup was for a large group in downtown Hobbs, so many tickets were pre-sold, but their food truck was nice and clean inside and out - I snooped! Lol. My husband ordered a hamburger, and I ordered a steak quesadilla. I wanted tamales but was told they didn't have any. They really don't have a menu, just some faded signs with no prices on the outside of the trailer, so we asked what all they had. We ordered our food not knowing the cost for any item. We were told the price of $24.00 for the hamburger, steak quesadilla, and two Mexican Cokes!! We were shocked at the expensive price! We waited about 10 minutes for the food. When the order was ready, we realized the food came with fries and a jalapeño. It STILL wasn't worth $24.00. The hamburger was very light-weight and was like one you would get at a concession stand at a ball game, not a restaurant. The Mexican Cokes were not cold and needed a bottle opener to open them, so I had to walk back to the food trailer and ask them to open them for us. The quesadilla was good but didn't come with salsa, and we weren't offered any. The food wasn't bad, just not worth $24.00!!
