The street tacos are not available à la carte, so I wasn't able to create my own combination plate with a street taco, enchilada, and tamale. You also can't mix proteins on the street taco plate. You have to choose just one meat option. Our server had only been working there for a couple of weeks and wasn't very familiar with the menu. He wasn't familiar with what carnitas and al pastor were and couldn't provide recommendations, mentioning that he only orders the fajitas himself. That said, he was friendly, attentive, and did a great job refilling our chips, checking on us, and making sure our drinks stayed full. I think it would benefit the restaurant if employees had the opportunity to sample more menu items so they could better guide guests. The prices are on the higher side, but the food was enjoyable overall. The restaurant was clean and offers both indoor seating and a covered outdoor patio area. Louisiana has law making restaurants post whether their seafoods are from Louisiana, or "imported". This somehow misses the customer's point; we are fine with seafoods from other states', as their products are from our own Gulf of American/Mexico, just not from the far east. The ceviche de camarrones here is not up to either Yucatan/Quintana Roo/Tamaulipas standards, nor our local quality. Other dishes we've tried are good to very good.
