I came here for the first time with my family early on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly and they brought chips and salsa to the table. Our waitress took a while to come to the table, but otherwise service was okay. I was happy to see that they had ceviche on the menu (it's my go-to at Mexican restaurants). The kids all ordered the cheeseburger with fries off of the kids menu, and enjoyed them. My husband ordered the enchiladas El Paso, but said they were just okay (he didn't care for the chicken used). The ceviche I ordered was good, but I wouldn't order it again. It was covered in spice, which I could've done without. Ceviche has a great flavor simply from the pico and lime - no extra spices needed. The serving size was perfect for me, so I'd say it's on the smaller size because I usually take home leftovers. Tried to dine in on a Friday night to listen to the live music they offered. When we got there we were escorted to a table all the way in the back of the restaurant. When we asked for a different table to be able to see the live music the "partial owner" of the restaurant scoffed and said fine sit wherever you want. We picked a better table to be able to hear the music. We said thank you and she walked off in a huff. We left and we will NOT BE BACK. read more

As always great food and drinks. El Paso always has a clean restaurant and the wait time for a Friday night was extreme quick . The black bean dip is the best and our kids can't get enough. Margaritas were delicious with fresh fruit as well. Great adult perk! Amanda was our server and she was all business and very prompt with all we needed. Much appreciated. We'll be asking for her next time! The only thing I would change would be the loud birthday song and dance by the staff for customers. It's incredibly hard to have small children behave in an already lively environment during dinner, but that is just a tad overboard for a family dining establishment. Tried to go eat after a long day. Get to the restaurant at 940, refused two guest because they close at 10:00pm. All the workers were sitting down eating. We were told they stopped serving at 9:45pm. Just try somewheres else. The restaurant seems to not need any business. People at the bar and two tables or so. But couldn't serve two people 20 minutes before their posted closing time. Very unfortunate to come back to my hometown and get refused service. read more

After totally being disappointed with the food and service at the original restaurant located 2 blocks down the street, I decided to give them a second chance at their new location. First, the male hostess didn't return a smile or any kind of pleasant greeting with his, "how many". How rude. Now, I paid $17.99 for a burrito that was just on their menu at the old location for $14.99. Never have I ever paid $17.99 for a steak burrito Asada with a tablespoon full of meat and a Burrito shell that was not even heated. I must've been out of my mind and stupidly hungry to agree to order this off of the menu. So I say, if you want overpriced mediocre food, by all means, El Paso is the place to be. I'm truly disappointed in that $17.99 kid plate I was served. According to the google posted menu, this meal was just $14.99. Is the price increase because they moved 2 blocks down the street into a bigger location? Shame on you charging us small town people extortion prices. And never have I ever seen a burrito the size of an enchilada. By the way, they've made no upgrades. It's the same old setting. Don't let the many cars in the parking lot fool you. The food is overpriced and super small portions. BTW our server only checked on us when we were done eating, as she could clearly see. So if we needed anything extra we clearly had to do without. Then, we sat there so long another server came to ask us if we needed anything. All we needed was the bill. So, if you were a our server and wondering why I left you a $1 tip on a $28 bill, understand young lady that you didn't even deserve that or the small tip from the person I dined with. read more

Hands down the best chips and salsa I've ever eaten, and the refried black beans are a really nice extra. I've never had anything bad there. I love their queso blanco. It's the real deal. Service is great. The atmosphere is festive yet laid back. I highly recommend. read more

It's ok if you don't know how real Mexican food tastes like, my son got the the Mexican burger which looked really really good and I believe it was good because he finished it . My daughter got the shrimp tacos which she did not touch only pick the shrimp. It does not look authentic. My husband got the verde enchiladas it didn't come with enough verde sauce very dry chicken when we asked the waitress for more sauce she brought us some 10 minutes later and it was cold. I have been here 2x. First time, service was horrible. Food was so so. The second trip would end up being our last! I asked the waitress how thick the steaks were, she showed us at least an inch. We had to ask for our salads & more drinks as well. When the steaks came ( if that's what u would call it), I was speechless!! The bacon I cook at home is thicker than the steak was. She never came to see how they were at all. I ordered mine medium rare, however, there's no way u can cook meat that thin to medium rare. They can't!! Also, I've never been to a restaurant that didn't play music to meet its authenticity. It was so loud, we were screaming at our friends that was sitting across from us in the same booth. Another very important thing I noticed, some waitresses didnt have their hair pulled back at all. I'm pretty sure that's against health dept regulations. This is an amazing restaurant. We went on a Saturday during lunch and were seated immediately. With the tortilla chips you get homemade bean dip and salsa. We ordered nachos locos and our food was out in 5 minutes and piping hot. We were able to share between the both of us and had leftovers. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Oh and all day Thursdays is happy hour margaritas. 2 for 1. We will definitely be coming back. They also offer Waitr service for delivery. read more

The quesadilla and soup was tasteless, the quesadilla wasn't cooked as a quesadilla should have been, tacos were less than desirable. This place is horrible.. very poor management.. food preparation and presentation is a joke. The best the manager could do to accommodate a complaint was offer a side salad and a cup of soup. I was not satisfied with this service at all and will be disputing the transaction. DO NOT give this restaurant your business. I have 10 years in restaurant management and have taken over bottom 5 stores and brought them to top 3 stores nationwide. We eat here regularly. The enchilada al carbon is my absolute favorite, but I've also enjoyed the fajitas. The restaurant is always clean, and we never have to wait for seating. Service is done well and efficient. Servers are always helpful with menu questions and are quick to bring out extra requested items and refill drink glasses. read more

We order 3 entrees to Go. The food was cold (I live less than 5 min away) the Loco burrito was not served with anything. No beans, rice..just ass medium sized cold burrito. We ordered to go but upon entering the entire staff was not wearing masks, except 2 servers. I always see my Facebook friends drinking their..maybe that is why they said the food is good because they are too hammered to know if it is good or not! Definitely Not.
