We were only there for the weekend to support a Raiders fan club annual party they were throwing, so I didn't spend much time in the room. The room appeared to be pretty clean, but bed was hard. As I was just getting into bed around 2am, I caught a glimpse of something black and fast crawling across the bedspread out the corner of my eye. Being extremely tired after a long flight and a night of partying, I doubted myself. To be sure I wasn't imagining things I stood up and shook the cover. Out comes a big black corn fed roach making a mad dash to the other side of the room. I had never in my life seen such a well fed roach that size. Scared to go back to sleep, I got up and turned every single light on in the room in hopes of scaring it away. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep for the next day and a half.
The food was horrible! Bacon tasted like stale freezer burned beef jerkey, cheese on the street tacos tasted old. I found out later that many of the hotel guest were walking just outside the hotel down the hill in order to get a decent meal.
Transportation from an Uber or taxi can take anywhere from 1.5 hours or more since the hotel is located a little higher up in the mountains. So, definitely take that into consideration when heading to the airport, or downtown.
