I booked a 1 night stay at the property. The hotel is the only designer hotel in Monterrey.
The room I had, had a view on the street side with the Sierra Madre (the local mountain range) as a beautiful backdrop. The room was well equipped for a hotel of this standing, save maybe an iron and board. The bathroom looked great too and his very modern. It took me a minute to turn on the water in the sink though... Hint: look to the side...
The one odd thing about the shower however has to be the glass partition in the tub/shower. It is oddly placed almost in the middle of the tub, so that you kind of have to hold on to the glass to get in.... it looks like design prevailed over practicality in this case.
The room has a minimalist feel to it, congruent with the modern design. Upon closer look, you'll find out that the room isn't all that empty. There is a full minibar, snack tray (try the Mango Chile). Funny thing: on the minibar menu, the last item is a "pleasure pack"...
The bar is located on the rooftop, along with the pool. This was cleverly done, as the pool is divided in 2 parts, each of them located on the edges of the building, while the bar is in the middle. The bar has to be the BEST feature of the place. The view of the surrounding mountain range is phenomenal! read more
