If you're visiting Barcelona then you MUST stop here. We were visiting and were not used to the meal times just yet. We were looking for something to each at the in-between hours where everything was closed. Happened to just walk across a window with the most adorable looking empanadas. In this case you can definitely judge something by its looks. Because they looked amazing and tasted even MORE amazing. Unlike anything I've ever been able to have in the states. We loved it so much we took a box to go! These empanadas are NOT greasy, the filling is PACKED full, all the flavors are delicious, and they are just as good the next day! Tasty, a quick empanada fix. This happens to be almost across the street from my hotel. I had walked past it earlier today waiting for my room to be ready. Unfortunately, my main operative phrase is "habla usted inglés", but the sweet server was very kind to immediately give me an English version menu and make suggestions in English. I had the beef, butternut, spinach cheese and tomato basil empanadas, all were tasty and crusty. She pulled them from the display and warmed them in a quick oven. They were heated thoroughly. Empanada was delicious- I had the Ternera Picante (spicy beef). If you usually eat spicier foods you will like it, not very hot. I almost got the salsa chimichurri because I thought it would be dry but that was unnecessary. Their empanadas are nice n moist inside :) It's just a storefront & 2 tables, so no air conditioning. That must be really tough in summer because it's 72 in Oct and hot in here. Can't wait to try another kind! Oh. No idea if they speak English because I didn't when I was there. Before my trip to Spain, I decided to check out what other Yelpers were posting and what foods I should try and this was one of the spots that I bookmarked and was able to try. Las Muns is a small store that sells different flavored empanadas. The menu has all the different flavors and colors. I love how all of them are differently colored. I wanted to try a lot of them but at that moment I just finished lunch. So I got four to try with my friends we picked the Galician tuna which was black on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Thai chicken was full of Asian spice and flavor, love the chicken. Sun-dried tomatoes were nice and this one has no meat. The mushroom one is amazing! I think that was my favorite and my second would be the Galician tuna. read more

This little place is located conveniently on the corner, right next door to a gluten-free cafe. All empanadas are clearly visible from the street and labeled with their contents. The variety is large, with mostly savory and a couple of sweet pies. Plenty of veggie options! You can buy directly from the window on the street or stop inside and sit down at one of the tables. This is an adorable empanada place. Great for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. The warm pastry was so delicious. I had a hard time choosing a flavour since there are so many. I got the mushroom and cheese, and it was just perfect. They seem to range from 3 to 4.50 euros. There are a couple of stools inside, but these are perfect to walk around with. read more

My friend and I got the spinach & tomato (vegetarian) and the spicy beef empanadas - Flavor was good, but the shells were a little stiffer and less crispy than some other empanadas in Barcelona. Spent the day in Montserrat and took the metro back to our air-bnb flat at the Urquinaona stop, and Las Muns was there for us when we needed it most. A little tired & hungry, and their special of 8 empanadas (mixed however we pleased) was the perfect afternoon snack meal for us to para llevar back to our flat. All the ones we picked were very tasty, but our favorites were Ternera Picante, Pollo Thai, and Pollo Curry.
