We drove out to restaurant last Sunday, and was disappointed that it had closed early at 4:00 PM, even though website had stated they'd be open until 8:00 PM. They may have had a good reason that they didn't state on the sign, but for me a business needs to commit to their published hours. I don't think we'll be back to try another day, as it's not that close to home. read more

I'm so sorry to write this review but our meal was so bad, and money is so tight right now, I feel like I should let people know that this place is not good. We walked right in on a Friday night and it was nearly empty. That raised a few concerns. Their chips are good and their salsa is amazing!!! Really good salsa! Unfortunately that was the only good part of our meal. My kids got tacos and quesadillas and they wouldn't eat them :( they did eat their rice and beans. I got nachos and my husband got some sort of burrito. I'm not sure how you mess up nachos, but they were not good. The carne asada had a bad smell, and my husband did not eat his main course either. Their prices are really expensive. $75 for the two adults and 3 kids meals and all of us drank water. We won't be back. It's a bummer too, because I can remember coming here as a kid and even can find family member's pictures on the walls. read more

Worst 'Mexican' food ever. Beef fajitas was rubbery boiled beef. Shrimp was cold & fishy tasting. Only redeeming item was guacamole. Entrees were cold & disgusting. Since guac was ok we asked for more chips. I sh*t you not--guy says "I guess maybe I can get you some more." Wow. Never again. read more

Las Mesitas is great! I ordered them on door dash and I ordered a chimichanga and a grapefruit jarritos soda. Pros: The chimichanga was flavorful, filling, and delicious, cooked to perfection. Also was my first time trying this brand of soda it was also yummy. Cons: It's a little speedy for my liking but not too bad. The listing on door dash said it was served with beans and rice and the only beans and rice it came with was in the chimichanga. read more

My family walked in today at 4:30. But there were two customers who walked in at the same time. The waitress never acknowledged us. We sat ourselves and sat for 20 minutes before we walked out. They can't even blame it on being busy. read more

Two stars... The good- The service was good as were the chips, salsa and the refried beans. It ended there. The not so good- My dining companion had a burrito with ground beef which was smothered in a very odd sauce with little taste. I understand Mexican style gravys and sauces and this one was awful. The bad- I ordered the combo plate with shrimp, steak, and chicken. It came with a few shreds of lettuce, rice, and beans and tortillas. That's it...no sour cream, pick de gallo, or even a wedge of lime. By and large the saltiest food I have ever eaten period. The rice was dry and very salty, the small piece of chicken was over-brined/marinated/seasoned, and cooked to death. The carne asada was very tough, and over seasoned. The shrimp were.. you guessed it..over salted. Huge potential to make some great food and I understand some places have an 'off night so I will be back to try again. Updates to follow.. read more

I have been going here for over a decade. Family own and run business. I have had Mexican food in Mexico and still this place beats them all. Phenomenal food and the lowest prices. They could easily charge twice as much per dish. The family waiters and waitresses are always the nicest people. You can ask them to make your order how ever you want (obviously for a small extra charge) and they try their best to make it work for you. Their salsa is a food group on its own. So often I see reviews of high marks and nice things said about the place and I think "yeah it's probably the owner or someone buying reviews". Not this case. I am in no way affiliated. Was not asked. I always get the pollo chimichanga my wife shredded beef. If you haven't had much luck with other spots try this place. Their mole is to kill for. The only bad thing I can think of is that it being in battle ground Washington it's a little out of the way. That being said it's worth the trip and their prices will make the gas money worth it. Every dish an authentic masterpiece on a hot plate to keep food hot till the end. read more

We went to eat on a Friday evening. Although the restaurant was packed, we had the most friendly & amazing waitress! She took our order right away, and our food came out shortly. We didn't have to wait long at all. The food is fresh, and tastes very authentic. We had two different waitstaff checking on us during our meal. Our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask (water, soda, etc). This is the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Don't let the exterior & interior of the building fool you. Great for date-night or family night. We will be going back frequently! read more

A standard Mexican restaurant where you can expect the same quality as most places. You get free chips & salsa as you sit down. Food is pretty good and taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. This restaurant has been family owned for many years. Burritos, enchiladas, and carne are all delicious and filling. Service is good and efficient. The exterior and interior may not look like much but do not deter because of that. The margaritas are awesome and compliments any meal. Don't be afraid to ask for more chip & salsa when you finish. The portions are nice and you can always expect great food from this place. read more

Anytime I have the luxury of being in the greater Southern Washington area I make it a priority to enjoy at least one fine meal at Las Mesitas Mexican Restaurant. They have outstanding food - my top two choices on the menu would be the Enchiladas a la crema or a simple Bean & Cheese Burritto. Chips and Salsa are solid. Service is sufficient. Hadn't been here in a while even though its just down the street. Was never disappointed in their service or food in the past but it appears they have changed from good to darn near excellent! My wife loves their ceviche, which is still tops on her list. I had the Tres Amigos platter that was not only generously plentiful but very tasty. Service was excellent as well. I usually judge service by how full an establishment keeps my water glass full, and they did not fall flat on this requirement ( in the past, service was so-so on this). We've never had a bad meal here. I have no complaints. Service is always prompt and friendly. Food is prepared lightning fast. Some reviewers seem to take issue with the fact that some food is precooked... What's wrong with that? Find a Mexican place that doesn't have their rice, beans, and most common meats precooked? I suppose if it wasn't precooked, you'd complain about slow service.... Prices are very reasonable. I always order the Enchiladas de Camaron... Like ALWAYS. It's sooo good. read more

We went two nights in a row. We moved here last year from Vancouver. Glad we have found some fun places to eat. First night was better than the second but it was still acceptable. First night I ordered sizzling steak fajitas (been eyeballing this meal for years lol) & my wife got a burrito with beans and rice. Both were delicious. Salsa and chips are great (first 2 free. Perfect for 2 people). Great service. Second night I got chicken tacos and my wife got a creamy chicken burrito. We weren't impressed with the chicken dishes but with the chips & beans and rice we still left full. The only thing I would suggest is to season/marinate the chicken. It was bland and chunky. Shredded marinated chicken would be better and think that they could improve with some effort as the salsa is home made and delicious. We will be back! read more

I did not enjoy this place at all. I got the chicken fajitas and the meat was tough and brown. I'm not totally sure it was even chicken. I could not even eat a quarter of it. My boyfriend got an enchilada and taco which also was not good. The salsa tasted tomato soup. Would not return to this facility. read more
