I ordered the roughly $60-$65 porterhouse with asparagus and the $5 lobster mac and cheese upgrade. The steak was extremely tough, fatty and full of gristle. The asparagus was overly charred and crunchy, and the lobster mac and cheese was watery, bland and had virtually no seafood flavor. After two bites, I sent the meal back. Our server was very apologetic and removed my entrée from the bill without me asking. I still tipped her based on the original total because she provided excellent service and the food quality wasn't her fault. I understand we arrived later in the evening, but if a restaurant is open until 10:30 and tells customers at 9:15 that it's fine to order, the food should still meet the same standard--especially at steakhouse prices. I want local restaurants to succeed, but this meal simply wasn't acceptable for the price. Unfortunately, based on tonight's experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
