The center of the restaurant has a dessert bar with all kinds of fresh fruit and toppings for making all types of treats and drinks. They also have a full bar and margarita specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The drawback is some of the employees speak Spanish and the menu is a little tough to navigate so you have to find the right people if you have questions! I also had a tough time understanding all the desserts and smoothies that were offered because I wasn't familiar with the names . I'll figure it out, and so will you. It's worth it. The food is really good.

Place looks fun and exciting. The menu was absolutely huge and we had no problems finding anything! Service was quick and the waitress was very attentive. My husband ordered Chili Relleno . The only thing is he was hoping that it would've been deep-fried like previous places, but it was wrapped in an egg. It was different, sadly it wasn't his favorite. I ordered three enchiladas one cheese and the other two shredded beef and they were very tasty. I would only recommend adding some cheese inside or some more sauce on top as they were a bit dry. Again, flavor was good just needed more moisture. The margaritas were very tasty!

Really disappointing visit. We saw they had over 4 star reviews and thought it would be good…read more Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the reviews. There was not a single person other than us in the restaurant, and that alone should have been our sign to leave. We got there and were asked about drinks. We saw the menu said they had a happy hour. When we asked the waitress she first said they don't have a happy hour. Upon showing her the menu, she went and asked someone and came back and told us drinks were $1 off. We ordered the birria chimichanga and diablo chicken. The rice was under cooked and the beans were very bland. The worst part was the chicken. It was very chewy and tasted off. Even the salsa felt like it had no flavor. We ended up paying and leaving without finishing our food. Within an hour of leaving we both started feeling very sick. It's hours later and we're still making trips to the bathroom. We both tried the chicken and are fairly certain that was the culprit. There are many excellent Mexican restaurants in Fondy. I would pass on this one. I will say the waitress was very nice, and no blame on her for the experience.

I ordered 4 tacos, 2 quesabirria style and 1 each al pastor and steak, both American style plus cilantro on a corn grilled tortilla. All 4 were dynamite, especially the quesabirria style. I would recommend the Al pastor over the steak as that meat had a lot more flavor. What really set the whole meal over the edge and made it top notch was the homemade hot sauces, both green and red. I couldn't decide which I liked more as they were both delicious and right amount of spice. To top it all off, service was outstanding, even on a quick lunch stop in. Definitely hit this place up and I see now why they have so many great reviews.

I would say this is one of the most authentic places I have ever eaten at anywhere. Nothing about the food preparation and flavors is similar to typical places. My favorite menu items would have to be the Birria ramen or the quesabirria! The tacos are always outstanding. The side dishes of their rice, seasoned potatoes, and macaroni salad are not seen anywhere else. Specialty drinks are well done although I prefer a cold pint of Modelo. The desserts are rotating on what is available but they are all made fresh there and authentic and amazing. The salsa and hot sauces are made daily and totally unique. You want hot- they have one that will hurt you lol. Guacamole is fresh and best ordered with the pico de gallo mixed in.. chips are much better than the typical offerings. This is truly a family restaurant, the owner and his wife and his boys are there to serve you and they do their best everyday. You may wait longer here, but I know my food is cooked fresh to order and with love every time we go there and that is worth it to me. There aren't steam trays of heated foods in back or an assembly line. Service is great but please be patient. I have seen it busy and it can be overwhelming as they are very tightly staffed- just raise your hand like you are in school and they will get you, but please be kind. I have seen people that truly do not understand how hard any foodservice business is, and I know this family is doing their best. Ambiance is perfect for what I realistically expect, this isn't fine dining or a new fancy building. But it is clean and in good working order. If you want authentic food that is made to order and consistently excellent, this is your place.

The presentation was also nice. My husband had some kind of pork taco that was also very good. I know this is an authentic Mexican place but the salsa was very very watery. I like a thicker consistency personally. The margarita I got was really good as well. As far as the place itself, the seating is definitely from the last restaurant that was there, it's very worn. The music was really loud, too loud, and the lighting was extremely bright for dinner time. Not nearly the aesthetic of some of the Mexican places in Appleton. The place was dead. Two people at the bar and another table of people eating, not what you'd expect at dinner time. This is surprising as the food was really good. Not sure we will be back any time soon due to the atmosphere not being very relaxing. Maybe they will upgrade the place over time. And lastly we've never been to a restaurant with 'combo" meals where you can't pick more than one option for your tacos. We could only get on choice for all 3. :(
