Most people were friendly and we had a standout item and multiple subpar items but for us the thing that was very prevalent here was their absolute hatred of dogs. Every few feet at this OUTDOOR market they had signs proclaiming "No Dogs!" And it's not even like it was the same sign over and over. There were dozens of different signs all over. If I'm being honest, we never would have drive the hour round trip to come here if we knew we would have to leave our dog in the car. The prices were higher than expected but it's worth it so support local farmers. That being said, I am sure I saw a gentleman selling store bought pies at a markup so just be cautious and if your dog is always with you, there are lots of farm stands on the area you can visit instead of this market.

Overall, I thought the stalls were decently priced and we bought a lot of items ranging from fresh beets, garlic, mixed greens, to fresh cheese, and mushrooms. Apart from food and produce they sell yarn that comes from the wool of local sheep. I saw a distillery stall where they were handing out samples - it had quite the line. A stall that sold dry teas and infused syrups (I bought one actually) Maple syrup, soaps, I could go on. There's a booth for those who use Hip and apparently from $10 you get $30 to spend so it's a place where even those on a low budget can come and take advantage. Then there's the food which, you should definitely try. It was our first time trying food from Afghanistan and it was incredible. They were like these dumplings filled with either meat or squash, we chose the squash, and then it had lentils on top and a rich yogurt sauce that was absolutely phenomenal. I mean, honestly, it was a great experience, and the place itself is so beautiful, it's no wonder that there's lines of cars parked and others waiting to find parking. That's the only drawback, finding parking is gonna be rough, but when you do, ohhh the goodies that await you! I honestly wish I lived here, I'd be at this farmers market every Saturday.

I told the person who helped me at the counter that I stopped in because "why not?" May this be a sign to go for your "why not?" here because this is the best strawberry pie I've ever had. Our farmers market in Pleasanton, CA near where I live is In a Richey Rich area and the price is not even as steep. Service is nice and friendly but again the price for my stuffed cabbage is $2 more than my Russian / Ukrainian/ Eastern European Market price in CA. So that still bugged me. Typical farmers market ambiance. Wished it were on a large parking area versus a park. Parking is not convenient but that is ok. I would go again but not go out of my way to go. Waiting a few days for the tomatoes to ripen-- hoping and expecting that they will be delicious. Very nice man. Also has kale, basil, and other greens. Highly recommended. Nice to take your kids here, too, so they can learn about where their produce comes from. I, personally, had never seen garlic bulbs still attached to the stalk. Pretty cool.
