Superb service and quality. Been doing business with Sal for 20 years for all our cars.

Can't say enough good things about Sal and the crew at Larry's Tire. These guys perform excellent work at a good price and are honest and straight forward. If your car doesn't need the extra work they won't run up your invoice like other shops. I was told I should replace my cracked rear struts, after taking it in to Larry's turns out I don't need to replace anything. Easy $1000 saved. These guys are at the top of their game and good honest folks too. Also let me mention just great customer service from the crew here, like from of any establishment and I've worked in customer service for 15+years. They don't waste your time, get you in and out of the shop super fast. I had got all 4 new tires on my Subaru and then came back the following day and then got the brakes and rotors done. Between both days I maybe spent 2hrs at the shop waiting while the work was being done. Like I said I can't say enough good things about the shop. Sal, Rodrigo and the nice mechanic whose name I forgot were all super kind, helpful and informative. Give these guys your business if you're looking to get any tires/wheels/suspension/brakes/alinement done on your vehicle! read more

Always a 10/10 experience here. I get all my tire needs done here and they have the BEST customer service. I'm always greeted enthusiastically, and they genuinely are just happy to help. I've come to Larry's shop twice since I've owned my 56 bel air. Both times I had an alignment done. I ended up swapping out my upper control arms because the bushings ended up being faulty. Decided to go ride tech. Sal helped me out and greeted me when I arrived for my 1pm appointment. He had another car on the alignment rack at the time. I didn't wait long until my car was up next. Juan did the alignment on my car. He did a good job. No pulling or drifting while driving. He was meticulous and thorough. If you're looking for a tire shop that does quality work and who's honest, don't look any further. Make Larry's tire shop your on stop shop! Thanks for the hospitality Sal! read more

I had an amazing experience at Larry's Tire Shop! I'm not sure who Larry is, but I do know that Sal delivered some of the best customer service I've ever had. He went above and beyond from the moment I arrived--quick, honest, and genuinely committed to helping me get back on the road safely. My husband has been taking his cars there for years. This time "I" was taking my young adult son in to get service on his vehicle. Now I know why my husband always goes to Larry's tires. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Thank you, Sal. It's rare to find a shop where you feel taken care of instead of taken advantage of, and Sal made the whole process easy and stress-free. If you're looking for quality work and exceptional service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend Larry's Tire Shop--especially if you get the chance to work with Sal! read more

5 star service all the way through. Very professional and knowledgeable. I been coming here for years and will only come to Sal. He always goes above and beyond. read more

Best Customer Service I've had when it comes to tire service! First off, Sal and his team were able to install 35" tires on my truck when other tire shops didn't have the equipment to get the job done -- even considering I had bought these tires online and not through Larry's Tire. Secondly (and most important), Sal helped me out of a jam and slotted me into his schedule day-of my call! We had an upcoming camping trip on Friday and once he heard this, he prioritized getting my truck in and completed the job within 2hrs - after originally saying it would be done by close of business. I had originally scheduled my tire service at Wheelworks and after being assured they could do it, I received a call an hour later saying the tires were too big for their machine. Called Larry's Tire and couldn't have been happier I did. Will be coming back for my other vehicles! read more

Been going to this place for a few years now when I bought some rims and tires. Sal truly cares about what you want and need for your car, without trying to pressure or swindle you for anything you don't. He also educates you about your car in a thoughtful and non-condescending way so you understand what's going on with your car if there are issues. They are an extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient team here. Most of all, I truly appreciate how they never go out of their way to charge you an arm and a leg for services like other shops would. I can't emphasize enough that it's clear their number one priority is helping you out. I don't see myself going to any other shop, this place is the best. read more

Service is good. Prices are in line. Will go back in the future. Ive had 2 cars services and my 3rd car (BRZ) will see action soon.

Called in for a quote for four tires for my car and spoke with a very nice guy named Sal. Gave him my tire information, he was very helpful, he provided a quote we hung up. Called back a little while later and asked if I could bring my car in that day. He had to order the tires and could have them delivered by the next morning. So we scheduled the service to replace 4 tires. Came in the next morning and was greeted with a smile by Sal. Gave him my keys and took a seat. These guys were on it, I was in and out in under an hour. Which Sal had mentioned. These guys have been around for a long time, if you need tires check out Larry's Tire Express, great service, good prices and been around for at least 20-25 yrs. They don't do oil changes but he will refer you to a couple places close by. Thanks so much for the service Sal. read more

Amazing service, honest work and commitment to their customers. I thought I had a nail in my tire so I called into Larry's and he told me I could bring it in- 50 minutes before closing. Got there, gave him the keys and he told me they took the nail out and it wasn't even in the tire, just in the groove. Told me I didn't have to pay but to be honest I bet other auto shops could've fooled me and charge the $25. Not at Larry's, thank you for being honest and super sweet. read more

Larry's Tires is the only place I go for all my wheels, tires, alignment, brakes and front end needs. Unmatched high level of customer service. Dealership couldn't fix my wife's cars brake problem. The absolute standard in all around service & quality! Larry's has always been THE place to go & has been a staple here in Hayward for many years. We're talking going wayyy back. Like to my very first car in HS. (I won't mention what year that was lol). Needless to say, Larry's is beyond established as a solid go-to. Sal & the crew consistently run a very smooth operating tight ship and are honest, reliable, professional & maintain great customer service and are well regarded for their efficiency and reliability. Sal is such a highly regarded human being and the level of respect and professionalism he consistently demonstrates trickles down to all the personnel that work here. I've never heard of anyone that I know that's ever encountered any issue whatsoever and I simply cannot praise Larry's for their exceptional care enough! I won't take my business anywhere else! Thank you, once again, for the wonderful service I was provided for my new tire purchase! Tell Sal Jeanie sent ya! read more

I think this is the first unsolicited Yelp Review I've ever left for a business... because Larry's Tires deserves it! I've brought my cars in three times now over the past couple years for flat tires, and each time they are consistently friendly, fast, affordable, and HONEST. It's $25 to repair a flat, for which they do a great job, with never even a subtle attempt at an upsell or any hint of dishonesty. This shop is truly one of the good guys, and when it comes to my tires or any tire related purchases or problems I have in the future, they have earned my undying loyalty. Please give them your business, because not only do they deserve it, but I have absolute faith that you will walk away as extremely satisfied with your interactions as I have been. read more

To make a long story short. This company provides free painting of your brake calipers when you purchase rims and tires. Bottom line, this company ruined a very expensive paint job, and the brand new rims I purchased. They failed to cover up the car and rims while painting the calipers. The company got paint on the car, rims and tires! The owner did not take this seriously. Unapologetic. Instead, the owner told me he is being burned because he was doing me a favor by painting the brakes... WHAT?! The audacity! To make it seem like this was somehow my responsibility?! Painting the brake calipers is a free service this shop provides to everyone when buying rims and tires. I did not ask for this service, it is included for free! How was any of this a favor? The bill was paid in full, but I left with paint of my car and the rims? This by far is the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! All they had to do was cover up the car! Pure negligence! This is not a place a wold recommend for any woman to go to. Instead of making this right, I treated horribly and spoken down to. They ruined my car! read more

I went there twice in the past and both times was amazed by the quality of the work. I care for my car and wheels and loved that they didn't scratch my wheels, and even put back my original metal valve stem covers. Fast forward to 2023, I go there with an appointment for 4 tires and alignment. Here is what I came out with: - All four wheels scratched around where the bolts are - Long 3-4 inch scratches where the valve stem is. Fresh grey scratches were not visible until after some dirt got in them and after first wash - I waited 3h despite an appointment. The manager blamed it on shops that come to use their equipment. No apologies. - I drive my car and the steering wheel is at a 25 degree angle when driving straight - I go back immediately, the manager's first reaction is to ask for my alignment paper, and shows me how everything was green. Alignment gets done again in 15min and sure enough the "before" paper showed lots of red Whatever happened to that shop made it go from a place I would recommend to a place I am avoiding. Delays happen, but multiple scratches on every wheel is not acceptable. read more

100% quality, value & respect! I have found our go to for life! Sal is amazing and no BS! Built business model on relationships. Outstanding communication and customer service. Quality and reliability is top notch. Wait time was minimal and I was informed each step of the way. Each incident I was in distress; Sal came to the rescue and ensured we were beyond taken care of and back safe on the road. The bay areas best tire care! Nothing compares to the business Sal is running. I'm a serial yelper for others feedback and rarely leave reviews. I couldn't contain myself this time to let the community know about Larry's Tire Express. Thanks Sal for taking good care of my family's auto needs! read more

Sal here at Larry's Tire Express is anyone would want from a true professional, courteous and kind while being extremely knowledgeable and willing to help, I will never buy from another shop again, every concern or problem I could've had vanished in the face of the pros down here, if they don't have it, they can get it and if they do its only minutes away from making your ride safer and well maintained.
