They actually do call you when your car is ready which I've found a lot of places don't follow up. Never had an issue really. I just called this Auto Mechanic to get some general information about warranty whether it's worth…read moreit and how hard is it to deal with the car warranty insurance company and the actual mechanic because that's where the truth is with the mechanic. Jason the owner was gracious enough to spend a good amount of time with me explaining to me how these warranty companies work and what to look for and what to ask and he gave me a few recommendations. You know it's really nice of him to take the time out of his day to give me all these tips and I'm not even a customer. Just goes to show that this place is really a genuine place to go because they don't have your business and they're treating me this good. he also mentioned whenever you get a used car always come in and get an overall check which is $89. This way you get an out side true review of the car you are buying not just what the dealer is telling you. I never thought about doing that but I can see where the value would be totally with it. Thank you Jason you really gave me a lot of good tips and I really do appreciate it. I'm looking forward to using your services in the future. Sorry if my writing is bad I don't do reviews but I just had to give this to you because you were so kind and honest. Aloha Jennifer

I told them upfront I suspected a bad alternator because I could hear a bad noise coming from the…read morealternator. Also asked them to check my squealing brakes. Brakes were fine, just dust build up, so no charge and appreciated. However, I was charged $531.95 for the alternator part alone (GM part #20911162), before labor/tax/fees. The same exact part number is available from Amazon ($199.70), GMPartsGiant ($268.81), and GMPartsClub ($318.59) -- all about half off what I paid, even accounting for normal shop markup over retail. Labor ($192) was fair. I wasn't shown itemized part pricing before authorizing the repair. Ask for the exact part number and price breakdown before agreeing to a repair here, or get a second quote. If you don't, expect to pay completely avoidable and unneccesary markups.

I was surprised when I called and they notified that the wait would not be long,l, although I remained skeptical. I will admit that it is a little tricky navigating inside the garage but once you find it there are plenty of parking spots. I was greeted by the receptionist who was extremely kind and welcoming. I kid you not, I only waited for 20 minutes and my car was completely inspected. That was the fastest car inspection I've had in my life.I would definitely recommend this place if it is a state car inspection that you are looking for

Finding an honest auto repair place is like finding an honest politician these days. I am…read moreincredibly glad to say that Paradise Garage is the needle in a haystack in that regard. I went to Paradise Garage twice, once because I needed oil badly for my car (it burns oil occasionally, necessitating refills) and another time for an inspection. When I went for the oil, they happily gave it to me AT COST and without delay, leaving me stunned at their incredible generosity. I made sure to give my inspection business to them as well, and they were quick and efficient about it. In the past, I would usually go to Merchant's knowing I would be price-gouged and given unnecessary service. Now that I have Paradise Garage on my radar, suddenly the prospect of auto repair doesn't seem so bad anymore.
