The communication was good. Emails got responded to and phone calls and meetings could be arranged. This was appreciated. Getting into their online system, I would get repeat requests to sign up even though I was already in. I also required a special two factor authentication. This would get annoying. Once I got a bill, I got emails at 2am asking for payment. This was also unnecessary. The worst part was advising me on what to do in the case of a marriage separation. Not only did I end up owing so much I had to deplete my emergency fund, but I had to pay 3k to learn that. I was asked once about my filing status and dependencies without being told how devastating it could be if that changed. In addition, they filed an extension, and I now owe interest and penalties. Yes, life changes mean financial hardship. But I was not properly advised and this ended up being the worst experience I've ever had with a CPA. read more
