I was told DIVA DOG and Brittney was very familiar with the dog. I called as soon as they opened & although they were absolutely Donnie said to bring her in & under the circumstances they would absolutely take care of her. I should mention that this is not the first time this has happened. This dog is use to being in the house with her human momma and nobody else. That being said Donnie & Brittney have a calming effect and she was just fine. They clean her up and she is a new dog. You can tell she feels so much prouder and she likes the way she looks. I don't personally have a dog but if I did DIVA DOG would be the place I would bring them to get groomed Thank goodness Walker has a wonderful business like DIVA DOG and wonderful people like Donnie & Brittney.

Stay away from this place if you are looking for grooming! I…read morealways made my next appointment when I picked up my dog. So my appointment came up and I dropped my dog off at 10:00 for her 10:00 appointment. Right at 1:00 I get a call saying the groomer is having car issues and wouldn't be coming in. I can understand things happen unexpectedly but here is where I have an issue. She was supposed to be to work at 10:00 but you call me 3 hours later to tell me she wouldn't be coming in. At 11:00 when she hadn't showed up, I should have been called and told the situation and given the option to wait and see if she showed up or if I wanted to reschedule. I wondered around for 3 hours just waiting to pick up my dog. I should have been told what was going on! So on to what happened after. I had a call with the "manager". He told me the groomer would definitely be in the following Saturday and rescheduled me for that day. He also offered a discount. Ok fine. Saturday I drop my dog off again at 10:00. I got a call about 12:30 stating the groomer wouldn't be in because of yet again, car trouble. So the manager said he spoke with the groomer and she told him the car was fixed and she would be in. He scheduled this appointment and now I find out he lied! He offered to pick my dog up one day during the week and bring her to the place to be groomed. Some may feel comfortable with their dog being driven across the river by a stranger but I'm not one of those people! They also offered to pay for a company to come get her and again, that's not a good option. How on earth the groomer that hasn't shown up to work in weeks still have a job is beyond me. One of the workers gave me a name and email of the owner because I wanted to speak with them about what went on. Well she gave me a name and email but not of the owner. After walking to the back twice I guess the workers decided it would be funny to not give me the correct information. This place is ridiculous with the lies. The last text I sent o the manager went unanswered of course. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place sure isn't worth your time or money!!!!

We…read morehave two weimaraners - one still a puppy and the other a senior - and both have received fantastic care from Dr. Taylor and her crew. We have leaned on Capital Heights for pretty much everything you can ask a vet to do - spaying, neutering, vaccinations and annual checkups, flea and heart worm medicine, and even emergencies - and they have never let us down. Capital Heights Vet recently moved, ironically, from Capital Heights to Goodwood, but the service has only improved with the relocation, which brought along much of the same staff from the older place. The new building is clean and bright and spacious, things the old one definitely lacked. Once their exercise yard is finished, we are looking forward to moving our boarding and daycare here too so we don't have to synchronize shot records among three different vets. I've had all kinds of experiences with veterinarians who are judgmental, opinionated, or downright aloof, but if there's one word I would use to describe Capital Heights, it's "friendly."

UNPROFESSIONAL & THREATENED ME!!!…read more I took my 13 yo POM for euthanasia in November 2025 and they left us in the room for 30 min unsupervised after giving him the first shot. They had told us they would be back in 10 min to give the final injection. My dog wound up having a heart attack due to their negligence as they waited too long! He was thrashing and screaming at the top of his lungs!! My BFF (who had her mother's dog put to sleep ~ 1 month before (smooth) & my son were with us and they ran out the door yelling to find help. After 5+ min (about 15+ by the time they got his final shot administered), they wound up giving him additional shots (yes multiple - at least 2 more) to finally put him down, but not before standing in my face and repetitively & continuously asking me if "I wanted them to help me," as I cried hysterically trying to calm my baby! "Of course," I replied, "that's why I'm here in the first place," as we all tried to calm my dog! Over the next week plus, I received a call from his actual vet there (West), who was sencere, apologetic and talked for almost an hour, heard me out and explained what had happened and told me we would work through this together; to call her anytime I was upset in the future, as I had to go to the doctor for myself after all that. I also received a sympathy card from the entire staff. I was in a VERY Bad Way for over a month and still have issues, but needed let it all go. FF to today 5/20/26 (6 mo) - to my absolute shock, I contacted then to take my son's dog in & made an appointment. The receptionist booked me right away and we hopped in the car. Once almost there, I received a call from Dr. Anderman herself and the conversation goes pretty much as follows: Me: Yes, this is Melissa (while driving and supporting a dog with a hurt leg). Anderman: We won't be able to see you as we're severing the relationship between us. "IF YOU DRIVE UP ON THIS PROPERTY, I WILL CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE YOU ARRESTED!" M: Are you serious? A: Yes, you yelled at and threatened my staff. (Which I did in NO terms do!!) M: Wait a minute, I need to pull over! Y'all left us in the room and my dog had a heart attack and no one could be found. I cant believe this; my son's dog is hurting and you just threatened me while I'm driving! A: I didn't threaten you. We are ending our relationship and if you show up you will be arrested!! M: You didn't think to let me know this back then? No problem, I'll find another vet! Glad to know they think a 60 yo, disabled woman is such a threat. BTW, my son's dog is okay now. Thanks for reading & proceed with caution!! Shame on Anderman!!! M
