At first it was fine. I have a senior dog that had been getting groomed here for over a year. Within the last week I had scheduled an appointment and overslept. So I cancelled it and rebooked the exact same person and the exact same senior dog. My appointment was at 730 with Alysha and due to a bit of traffic, I called to let them know I was around the corner (I was in the parking lot at 7:34), that's when the groomer decides to say that she wasn't sure if I was showing up because I was a no call/no show a couple times (it was once), and that she isn't comfortable grooming my senior dog because she is new and if I could come back at 10 so her supervisor could handle it. I had an appointment somewhere at 9 and could not be back in time to bring her for that time frame. She rescheduled me for 230 with the supervisor but I ended up canceling the appointment altogether. I asked her what would've happened had I not called and she said " I would've taken a look at the dog". Waiting until I get there to decide if you can groom my senior dog who has been there multiple times is inconsiderate as hell and unacceptable. Considering that I booked the same person and the same dog, once the groomer saw that, a courtesy call would've been nice. If the groomer was uncomfortable, she should've been calling me, and not me calling her and finding out as I'm in the parking lot. Very inconsiderate. Won't ever bring my pet back. Because now I'm worried that if you aren't comfortable, you will just hold my pet in the back and not say anything OR I'll have to find out as I'm dropping her off and that just doesn't make any sense. read more

It may look like a massive department store on the outside, but it's no more than 2 aisles of Costco-like decor on the inside. On a whole, it reminds me of a condensed version of PetCo, complete with the lack of animal pizazz and pet loving customers toting their pets along a leash or in boxes, all the while shopping for their little loved ones. Buying toys, food, etc. is not cheap for even the smallest animal and the prices are fairly steep here. I gather that most of the local pet stores can probably sell a leash cheaper than $8.99. However, I bet its a damn good leash. The cats in the windows look sad, fat, and lazy. I would never recommend getting cats / dogs from this store. At the very least have some kittens. One thing worth noting is they also have an in-house animal clinic with a certified Vet. In addition to that they have a grooming shop and a giant window for all the world to witness. This place is really just a franchised supermarket and barbershop for pets, nothing more. read more

Very disappointed in my experience here. Brought in my dog for a haircut and found out after I picked her up that I was charged an additional $7 for extra care. However, nobody let me know what happened or why I was charged either during the haircut or when I picked her up. I didn't notice the extra charge until after she was picked up. Never have had an issue at any of the other PetSmart locations that I have brought my dog to. Also, once I got home, I noticed several cuts all over her body as well as several spots that were either missed or significantly shorter. It looks like a stripe down her chest was used with a much shorter blade. I am very disappointed in how uneven she is all over and how many cuts she has on her body. read more

What a great crew! Honestly, box stores like this are only as good as its employees. Patrick helped us tonight by getting fish for us and testing our water. He even helped us find some extra savings! Victoria has always greeted us with a smile and is so sweet to our dogs. MC took his time talking to us about the large fish tank we purchased and what filters are best, and the best bacteria to use to start cycling the tank. We have bought 10 fish from here now and they all seem healthy and happy as clams. Will definitely return - we have always had such a pleasant experience here! Thanks guys :) read more

Today my boyfriend went to PetSmart because of the affordability of a rabies shot. As he left he called me to tell me the total was $230. The vet pressured him into getting multiple shots & checking our dog for heart-worms. She wouldn't take no for an answer. We just brought our dog to the vet 6 months ago where they checked him for heart-worms. The vet stuck her nose up at him asking who our vet was to say that the dog only needed a rabies shot. As a dog owner I would like the respect of having my own opinion and not being pushed or pressured into something I'm not comfortable with. It sounds to me like she is a pushy sales person & takes advantage of people who are overwhelmed. Shame on her. read more

I have spent time in Petsmart stores from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma. This is by far my favorite store because of the employees. The grooming salon is wonderful; Gabrielle, Leslie, Rachel, and Suzie take great care of my animals and others. Leila is a fantastic trainer and the management team is very caring. You can find anything you would need for a pet here but I still like petco better. The staff here doesn't seem to love animals as much as some of the other Petsmarts I've been to. For instance, a while back I took my little girl Boston terrier to the store. At the time she was one year old. She is fully trained but got so excited(I'm talkin whole body wagging-not just the tail) that she peed on the floor. I went to get the stuff to clean it up but still the girl at the register seemed upset- like no other dog had ever done that before.... yeah right. Anyway, like I said they have all the stuff you need but I prefer either petco or a diff Petsmart. read more

The dog trainer here is rude. Pestered me while I shopped. Told me that my commands for my dog were wrong. Told me I was "ruining my dog's experience" because I would let another dog greet him by jumping on him from behind. Told me to "calm down because I am making my dog have a bad experience" despite me keeping my cool while she insulted me. Complained to manager who told me I was wrong and trainer would never say that. Never shopping here again, Tractor Supply carries higher quality dog food for better prices FYI. read more

I brought my 25 lb. mutt for a trim around his tail, which was $35. When I picked him up, they charged me $62! I asked for a breakdown of the charges and was told "no." As the steam rose from my ears, some idiot in the back yelled, "It's because of his breed." They decided he was a 40 lb. Australian Shepherd! Livid, I called when I got home, got that same stupid woman with the bad hair and Australian accent, who then told me it was because he got a full body trim, which I did not want. She then put me on hold, and when she came back, she said it was because they used scissors instead of clippers! That makes 3 bullshit excuses. Then, the bitch hung up on me. I called again and said I wanted any document I signed outlining care to be waiting for me. These people are horrible! read more
