She went above in beyond and gave me exactly what I wanted, and additionally gave me tips on how to properly style the bangs. She kept up a great conversation the entire time and really made sure she was cutting exactly how I wanted it. The salon itself is small but professional, sleek, and clean. First of all, I must admit that my expectations for this place were really high as it was recommended by one of their clients with an amazing ombre. She didn't tell us who did it though. After reading the reviews, I booked Diana for a similar ombre. It was all natural and looking great right after my visit to the salon. However, after just one wash, the color changed and for the first time in my life, I was reddish lines in my hair. I see there was a disgruntled review of one star. That's ridiculous! Larissa Sofia is an extremely well run business, besides being a wonderful salon. Connie cuts my hair, and she is fantastic, making her one of an amazing group of people who happen to work all at the same place. Larissa goes out of her way to make everyone welcome, and runs a tight ship. Everyone is very safe, sanitized, and fun. They know the rules, and the clients are told the rules up front. Went here for a balayage last week and was certainly disappointed. My husband and friends could not even make out I had gotten my hair colored. I have dark brown hair and I wanted a caramel golden or a chewy black balayageI had my appointment with Diana or the same. Diana mentioned that red color would be high maintenance so I opted for the caramel. The color used was L'Oréal inoa. The process seemed nice and quick with a 30 min wait. But after washing the hair I could not see any much of a difference until my hair were curled. I have straight hair and I never curl my hair. So the effect is hardly seen. The flow of the balayage seems good but what's the use if no one can find it out ? I did show her pictures of balayages i wanted. She could have used some other techniques like bleach etc to achieve it. Sole color was not enough for my dark hair. Definitely not worth 165$ for the end result! The ambience of the salon is great. The salon itself is adorable. So cute, clean and stylish. The receptionist greeted me promptly and offered me a variety of drink options. I did not wait long at all for my stylist to bring my to her chair from the couch in the waiting area. I had a great haircut experience with Jennica. She really took the time to ask me about my hair and it's history, and how I typically style it before she washed it. I have shared the same picture of what I want to two stylists previously and neither of them executed it as well as Jennica. It has been about a week and my hair is exactly as I see in the photo even when I style it at home. I got so many compliments on my cut and I didn't even have a big change. Thanks Jennica! I have been client for 1,5years and first 2 sessions (color and hair cut were fine) however since 1 year the service has changed, my appointment canceled or shifted without notifying me, the team got better to notify if appointments get canceled or if I need to go to another stylist which is always a lottery if the haircut will be what you need - with past 6 months of experience I would not recommend the Salon for haircut or color due to a high unreliability of service and outcome that is questionable if you are all the time shifted to different stylist. Super cute salon right in Klahanie! Very convenient if you live in the neighborhood. I went in today for a cut and a deep conditioning. You can book your appointment online. Hannah did a wonderful job on my hair. I don't like a lot of products or a lot of flat ironing. She gave me a great haircut and styled it beautifully with minimal products. My hair tends to get dry and frizzy but she gave me a very good deep conditioning. Price is what you'd expect to pay at good salons in the area but it's not over the top pricy. Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with this salon. We corresponded with the salon via text and scheduled an appointment for 14 days later. When we arrived, the owner flippantly advised that we did not have a confirmation, and we had no appointment. She never offered to reschedule, and she said there was nothing she could do. This response was very disappointing because my daughter was getting her hair done prior to her first day of high school. Very frustrating customer service experience (or lack thereof). While I understand and respect the time of every profession, this salons cancelation policy is stricter than a physicians office. They act as if they are running a medical practice. Although I called timely as a new client to cancel, I felt reprimanded and scolded while being reminded of their cancellation policy even though I canceled timely within their policy guidelines. It was so off putting, I didn't even bother to reschedule and I won't be as it seems others have experienced this same level of rudeness. There are far too many quality choices in the area to have to put up with this poor customer service. There's no excuse for being rude. read more

I was visiting my mom and came to this salon without researching. Big mistake. I think this salon maybe caters to an older clientele. I am in my early 30's and was by far the youngest person there. I got balayage and my hair was really, really brassy. The stylist's solution, instead of fixing it, was to tell me to buy a $30 bottle of purple shampoo. My hair also feels dry now, which I told the stylist and she suggested a $45 conditioning treatment. I will not be returning. There was also a little yippy dog running all over the salon that someone kept putting in my lap - even when I was at the shampoo bowl. They kept telling me the dog wanted me to pet it. I like dogs, but I come to the salon to relax, not have a dog in my lap for 2 hours. read more

I don't write negative reviews often, but I was shocked at the poor level professionalism and quality of this salon. My daughter and I made appointments at this salon for the first time. My appointment was 2.5hrs long and my hair color was far worse leaving the salon than it was when I arrived. I just made an appointment with my former colorist to correct the terrible color I received at Larissa Sofia. Also, my daughter wasn't feeling well and needed to reschedule. The person that answered the phone was incredibly rude to both me and my daughter. She was talking over me and I basically had to hang up on her to get her to stop talking and reprimanding us. Unfortunately I did not have the best experience in the salon. I was a new (first and looks like last time) customer and had a haircut/balayage appointment with a new master who recently joined the salon. The master mentioned that has few years of experience doing hair mostly from her home. Sounded a bit concerning given I came to color my hair in a long time, but I was already in the chair. The color of balayage turned out to have a lot of either intense gold or silver grey, hair is dry and at this point I'm still contemplating if I should cut it all together or drop another $200+ to fix the mess called balayage. Suggested minimum tip is 30% which I in general would support but for leave much to be desired outcome. I guess if you're first time customer, make sure to do your research on the master to avoid getting in hands of someone who's still learning ways around hair coloring. read more
