Azure is one of those rare people who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in, took the time to assess my skin, and explained everything she was doing throughout the treatment. My skin looks brilliant, radiant, refreshed, and healthier than it has in a long time (early 40s takes its toll!) One of the biggest wins was that she was able to remove a ton of stubborn blackheads that had been bothering me, and my skin feels so much smoother because of it. She also gave me thoughtful, personalized recommendations for my skincare routine going forward without ever making me feel pressured to buy products. The space itself is clean, modern, calming, and with a beautiful view overlooking Balboa Park, which made the entire experience feel even more relaxing. If you're looking for an esthetician who is knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and delivers amazing results, I highly recommend booking with Azure. I'll absolutely be back and will be recommending her to my friends and family!

I've been going to Kelly for over 2 years and I'd never cheat on her, she's the absolute best at what she does!! I even recruited my husband to get a back facial by her and his back was sooooo smooth when he got home and his breakouts have significantly decreased. Kelly always has her studio decorated for each holiday/ season which I love, makes sure she offers water, has yummy candies, it's a relaxing day when I have an appointment at Brazil appeal!

This review is LONG overdue…read more I had an amazing first time with Miss Kelly mid 2024. Before Miss Kelly's Brazil Appeal Waxing, I had been to several other salons. I had been going to one of these salons for at least 3 years. Her suite is currently located in the plaza across H-Mart and 24 Hour Fitness off of Balboa Ave in a secured building on the second floor. Her suite is cozy for Miss Kelly, her client, and the equipment she needs. I highly recommend Ms. Kelly and her services - both to those who are sensitive to pain, and even the "veterans" who have learned to "tough it out." Before booking, please take the time to read her website. You will notice that her pricing is higher than the regular waxing/sugaring establishments. This is because she takes her time prepping you and doing the wax itself, which is also why your appointment will be longer (this varies, of course). This is why the pain level is much more tolerable, and makes the price worth it. It has been a while since my first appointment with Ms. Kelly, but I have returned several times since. I unfortunately had to pause my appointments with her, but await the day that I can resume my appointments. Ms. Kelly is a gem and I CANNOT recommend her enough!

This was my very first time getting a Brazilian wax, so naturally, I felt uncomfortable, insecure, and super vulnerable having to expose myself down there. But Fabiola made the whole experience so much better. She reassured me that there was absolutely no judgment and nothing to feel embarrassed or ashamed about, which immediately helped me feel more comfortable. I'm not going to lie, it definitely hurt the first time, but it was bearable because she talked me through everything and kept me distracted from the pain. And she was right, it really does get easier with every session! I'm also a pretty shy person and not the best at socializing, but Fabiola somehow knows how to get you talking and feeling comfortable with her. That makes such a huge difference, especially when you're already nervous about the service. I definitely want to try some of their other services in the future, but for now, I can say this is such a great place for first-timers. If you've been wanting to get a Brazilian but feel nervous, shy, or embarrassed about it, I highly recommend coming here and seeing Fabiola!

She was amazing - so kind, easy to talk to, and genuinely attentive to what I wanted. She was incredibly detailed, checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I was happy with how everything was looking, and really went the extra mile to make sure I absolutely loved the final result. At the same time, she was super efficient and respectful of my time, which I really appreciated. My brows came out BEAUTIFUL. And Adanna is far from the only wonderful person here. Afsana has done my henna brows and is consistently amazing - they always turn out beautifully. Dahlal is also fantastic with threading. There is just a really high level of talent here across the board. I also have to give a special shout-out to Vetsa at the front desk. She is exactly the kind of person you want as the face of a salon. Whether I've needed to reschedule an appointment or had something I wasn't completely satisfied with, she has always been incredibly kind, pleasant, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure everything gets taken care of and that I leave happy. Even over the phone, she has such a warm and lovely demeanor. The salon itself is always clean, welcoming, and has great energy. What has kept me coming back for so many years, though, is that I know I'm going to be taken care of - and if something ever isn't exactly right, they genuinely care about making it right.
