At first, I thought one of my previous chip repairs had failed, but it turned out I had never actually had that particular chip repaired. Lots of window chips happened this snowboarding season! After removing the windshield, JD took the time to walk me through everything, showing me the original repairs that had been done and pointing out the unrepaired chip I had completely forgotten I didn't get fixed. I really appreciated how patient and transparent he was in explaining the differences. Even though the mix-up was entirely my mistake, he graciously honored his original price quote. That level of honesty, integrity, and customer service is hard to find these days. Each interaction he was incredibly responsive, punctual, and had me taken care of faster than I expected. It's so great finding consistently excellent work. The quality of his repairs is outstanding, and you can tell he genuinely takes pride in what he does. He's honest, professional, and makes the entire process easy and stress-free. He even helped me call in my windshield repair to insurance which was great because insurance always confuses me. As an added bonus, my kids absolutely loved meeting JD's dog, Oreo! Oreo was so sweet and friendly that my kids are still talking about him. It's those little personal touches that make the experience even more enjoyable. The office waiting area was super nice and clean. If you're looking for someone you can trust for windshield repairs, I can't recommend JD enough. Between his exceptional workmanship, reliability, and outstanding customer service, he's earned a customer for life. Updated Review Per…read morethe shop's recommendation, I took my vehicle to Tesla for a full inspection of the windshield. After evaluating it, Tesla confirmed that the lines in the glass were caused by external forces -- most likely excessive heat -- and not by any manufacturing defect. They were very clear that there is no scenario where the vehicle would have left the factory with this type of damage. Because of that, the replacement was not covered under warranty, and I had to pay $1,535 out of pocket. Here's what this experience has cost me: * $300 for the original tint * $150 for tint removal -- which I was never informed would be charged, and they only told me I "owed money" after removing it * $1,535 for a new windshield due to damage caused during their tint installation That's almost $2,000 lost, and I'm left with no tint, a brand‑new windshield I had to pay for myself, and zero accountability from the shop. To make matters worse, the owner laughed at my wife during the conversation. That alone tells you everything about the level of professionalism you can expect. If you choose to get your tint done here, understand this clearly: If something goes wrong, you will get no support, no responsibility, and possibly even disrespect. What you may get is a bill for the damage they caused.
