Sit back and enjoy this video fellow foodies, I am doing a sub today, but not your normal Italian, I am trying their pulled pork sub. I am also having a cup of vegetable beef soup which was very hot, packed with beef and veggies, it was very filling and very delicious. A good hot soup on a cold day, by the time this video premiers we will be in the fall season. Now my sub was very interesting, I added peppers and onions which it already came with cheese and spinach. I forgot to add any sauce, so I compromised with ketchup which was good too. Largo's also makes their own pasta; I had their pasta in the past and that's really good too. They also offer fries which are fresh cut as well, you can't go wrong here peeps. We were looking for a lunch stop halfway home from the beach and found Largo's Place through an Apple Maps search. We saw some great reviews and thought we would try it. Largo's Place didn't disappoint. Their Philly Cheesesteak was packed with meat and cheese throughout, and large enough to share. Their spicing of the meat was phenomenal. The owner was kind enough to give us sides of mushrooms and onions to top ourselves (as my wife and I don't agree on how to order a cheesesteak). The fresh cut fries were great, especially with 'Wiz' to dip. We saw the pasta machine running on the counter, and took home dinner as well: homemade pasta, vodka sauce, and meatballs. Yum. After conversing with the friendly owners, looking at some of their sons artwork on the walls, and seeing pictures of their dog, Largo, we hit the road and continued on our way home. My clients wanted lunch from this location, so we decided to get it. The order was called in. I got the french bread pizza for myself. When I arrived, I parked in the private lot. I walked into a small, cute restaurant. I was greeted and the food was ready so I paid and left. When I dug in, surprisingly, the french bread pizza was a decent size for the low price. I dug in, and it wasn't bad at all. My clients like their food as well. All in all I had a good experience! read more

Was driving along Main Street and pulled in to get a quick bite. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the entire staff, given orientation to their menu and invited to add/remove anything I wanted. The portabello mushrooms were delicious and made for one amazing sandwich when paired with spinach, provolone and a handful of other toppings. I'll save you a trip to Philly. It's been years since I have been to Philly and enjoyed while avoiding tourist trap cheese steak, authentic Philly Cheese Steak. So, while Largo's Place in Old Forge has been opened for a while (wife and I avoid trying new places until the novelty wears off, so don't judge maybe a Gen. X thing Idk...) we noticed it survived the Pizza Capital of the World. This isn't a bad thing, there are many restaurants in Old Forge and people have their favorite, however locals support the local business economy by enjoying each and every dining establishment. Food: absolutely authentic to my reasonably intact memory of days of Philly past. Portion: heavy sandwich! Cheese Fries: cheese throughout not simply slapped on top. Service: brotherly and kind! I recently visited Largo's place and absolutely loved my experience there. The food was outstanding and the staff was super friendly and recommended an awesome chicken cheesesteak to get and the best garlic parmesan french fries I've ever had. We've been eager to try Largo's for a while, but we always seem to think of them too close to closing time. Saturday, we finally had the chance to sample their food, and it was fantastic! Although the prices are a bit high, the quality justifies the extra cost. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is so pleasant it feels like a throwback to when businesses truly cared about their customers. I had the Italian hoagie, crab/clam chowder, and some of my wife's fresh-cut French fries. The soup was outstanding, and I know I'll be craving it in the near future. The hoagies were generously filled; my wife had the meatball Parm hoagie and raved about the meatballs. However, we both agreed that the buns could be better. We wished they used an authentic Philly bakery like Amoroso's. Nothing like a crusty roll from Amoroso's.. Our only other comment was about the fresh-cut fries. I know it's cheaper to make fresh cut fries, than it is to buy frozen. But most places can't properly execute fresh cut fries, especially when you see them packaged in Styrofoam, you know they aren't going to be good.. Five Guys is one of the few places locally that can make a fresh cut fry.. I wish Largo's had tater-tots on the menu as an alternative to fresh cut fries.. Largo's is definitely going on our list of places to frequent!!!! I highly recommend trying their food! read more
