The Pitt Stop Deli is a small convenience store with a full cold and hot hoagie station serving up all kinds of tasty options. I chatted with Skip, the owner, who mentioned they now accept EBT cards for items like bread, cereal, and milk. Today, I'm heading to the hot side of the grill for a meatball hoagie. Off camera, I asked if the meatballs were homemade, and he explained they come from another establishment--so yes, they're homemade, just not here. This was your classic meatball sub: toasted bun, melted mozzarella, and packed with flavorful, piping-hot meatballs. Even though it's a store, they have a spot where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you'd rather eat in than take out.
