Do you want or need something that you just can't find in a store? This is the place you want to call, show up, and get a good deal at. The courses elsewhere do not compare, whether it be CPL certification, recertification, or more advanced ones. They also have a specialty course designed for women's self-defense that I do hope and intend to take my daughter to when she's of age. These gentlemen are incredibly respectful, kind, and are willing to help you out. No judgments, and are willing to give you the insight that they've learn learned through years of technical training, local/state LE, and military experience. As a woman, I do understand how daunting it may seem to decide on where to go, what kind of weaponry to choose in this day and age. The staff at CQT make it an easy choice for me. I took my CPL re-certification course out here with Dutch, and also had some pretty awesome insights from both Brian and Brandon. Chris is always there keeping me up on tabs about firearms and he even helped me out with adjusting one of my sights. I am fortunate to say that I feel pretty darn welcome here and the people here are always willing to help expand my knowledge and understanding.

Scott was our instructor, along with some input from Rick. The class was well paced, included, not only instruction on the law but firearm safety, and some hands-on training. After that, we drove to a local range and had live fire safety and shooting training. Up until I had…read moremy forensic pathology lecture and witnessed some seriously mentally disturbing pictures that will assuredly make you hate humanity. That's when I witnessed the awesome power of what a shotgun can do to a person. I assure you, it was disgusting as much as it was fascinating. Well, I come from a gun-toting family. My mother can bust ass with a 45-magnum, and my sister could probably make a career as a professional sniper. For the longest time, they thought I was adopted because I had absolutely no interest in guns. After school was over, I decided it was time. IT WAS AWESOME. My axilla are bruised (both! learned that although I'm right handed, I'm a lefty shot). I had a teenager help me out since it was my first time. I yelped my first shot (and not in the usual yelp-kinda way). Since I'm a girl and it was my first time, I got 2 boxes of shot free. Normally $3 a box. 100 shots = $30 = better way of spending 1.5 hours of entertainment than in the casino, and way more rewarding, I assure you. They will lend you the gun, ear protection, eye protection. Ask for David, the young lad who helped me out. This is an awesome experience to try out if you are new to it -- an awesome bonding experience with your friends, spawn, or lover. ***CASH ONLY**** Note: CALL them before you go to make sure they are open or will be open when you want to go!
