Been here twice. Once was for a severe concussion. Empty lobby, the lady sweeping had no care but to make sure we had an appointment scheduled and insurance card with a horrible attitude, made us feel wrong for being there. Second time was because my friend was having SEIZURES. WENT INSIDE TOLD THEM HE WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A SEIZURE MANY TIMES AND NOTHING. They literally waited until he had a PHYSICAL SEIZURE IN THE LOBBY to begin doing anything, AND NOBODY CALLED THE AMBULANCE!! IT TOOK 3 EMPLOYEES TO CALL ONE AND THEY NEVER EVEN DID. Went in for terrible throat pain an Dr. MICHAEL and staff were terrific! My vitals were all good and they did a throat swab and found that it was not streptococcus but a viral infection. Got directions on what to do and a antibiotic was ordered. Was told antibiotic for viral is 50/50 shot and Blessed to say that it is helping. Thank you all! I think my real frustration is that i checked in online for this appointment. The wait time was 2 hours. 5 minutes before the appointment we get a text letting us know they are 16 minutes behind. We decide to wait it out. We are still waiting an hour later, with no update. Made a reservation for 3, arrived early. never more than 4 people in waiting room so they were not busy. At 3:40 I asked about wait times, receptionist was unsure. after 1 hour we were out in exam room. nurse and PA were not nasty, but not kind or friendly. I'd guess this is a miserable place to work. we left before getting answers or prescription as I had to pick up another child. LUC should close this down at this rate. horrible. read more

Was seen on 9/30 for pain in my lower side / ribs, from falling down a flight of steps five days ago. I've been in fairly significant discomfort, but I've waited five days to be seen. So, why did I go yesterday? Well, I'm fairly certain I have developed a case of "costochondritis, a swelling of the cartilage. And it's getting worse. (A condition I have had previously.) First, the nurse spent the majority of the time telling me about her back problems, and then diagnosed me with a "contusion." That's the wrong diagnosis. I'm there for pain from inflamed cartilage; not a back injury. Then, doctor came in, and gave Naproxen, and stated I should expect this pain for the next 28 days. That's more than a month! Finally, the mgr of the practice called my home, and gave a condescending lecture about how the ribs / spine are all connected. And then suggested I come back, and be seen by another provider. What would that accomplish? I had just been there three hours earlier. Then, she stated that the doctor and I were talking about the same thing, but in different languages. (What does that even mean??) It was insulting and degrading. Wrong diagnosis. Wrong treatment plan. Ignored what I repeatedly told them. Then, called my home, and slyly suggested I was a drug addict. Not surprisingly, my pain level is worse this morning than it was yesterday. I'll let you decide for yourself if this is good medicine. read more

They are trash and unprofessional. There are people working at the front desk who doesn't have a clue what they are doing. Worse place to come and get check up and anything done. In addition, they don't ever have anyone who can answer a question. For a simple DOT card pending review they made we wait two weeks after I provided the document they asked for. This review is my experience at Frandor location I've been here 3 times for my daughter and me for the course of a couple of sinus infection & asthma attack. The last 2 times I've gone I met with Jeffrey Brenner, PA-C. He is easy to talk to and thorough with his diagnosis. I always walk out of there feeling like I'm set up for a successful recovery whatever my ailment may be. The facility is clean overall, as far as the reasons I have gone they have always had the expertise and technology to provide proper care. The staff is kind and genuine most importantly knowledgeable, overall wait times varies with the season the last time waited 3 hours it is all worth it. This is the only time I waited that long. So my husband and I were in EL on a family trip. Started feeling ill on June 1, tested pos on June 3. By this time we were really feeling awful. I called and asked about making an appt to get Paxlovere and was told they onlygave itto people who were over 65 with pre-existing health conditions. We ended up checking in to a hotel for awful days of illness, and are still so exhausted we are barely functional. My daughter, an RN says if we'd gotten the meds we would likely not have gotten it so bad. The receptionist just LIED. They did have the ability to prescribe. I was too sick to know better. I made a 2 pm appointment for a TB test. I need the test for employment. I was told there were 2 patients ahead of me, a half hour later, I was told there was still a long wait time. An hour after my appointment was scheduled I was told I was next. At 3:30 pm, I was told that 2 walk in DOT physicals had to be done first. At 4:20 I had still not been called back. Took my wife in because of excruciating pain in her abdomen, which then moved to her back. CLASSIC KIDNEY STONES ISSUE!! She couldn't give them a urine sample, so they sent us back home. After another flare-up of excruciating pain, went to the Urgent Care on Robbins and Saginaw St. There she was told she had the "classic symptoms" for kidney stones (oh, she gave them a urine sample which they found to contain blood), and was sent to the hospital for a scan. Guess what? Kidney stones! I would never recommend this quack-shop to anyone in dire need of anything more than a bandaid. Will continue to bad-mouth this place to anyone who will listen. read more

I arrived about 930 and the front desk told me to complet registration. fast forward it is now 11 am and I am still here in pain from a work related injury. doctors are friendly as ever but if ur looking for them to keep ur appointment time or have any sense of urgency for u as a new patient or returning patient u can hang it up. try the other local urgent care centers the one in frandor has just become my least favorite to check in at because they simply aren't professional at the front desk and if u upset them they will love u to the very end of the line. I honestly wish I could give them a zero. Upon initial check-in, we were told that want times were about 45 mins to an hour. We opted to check in and come back at 8:07 pm. We came back shortly before 8.07 and checked in, filled out paperwork, and payed the copay. All before 8:15 pm. We then waited in the waiting room until 9:07 pm where we were then brought into an exam room. We were assured by the nurse that a doctor would be in soon, but we are currently sitting here at 9:45 pm without seeing anyone and listening to the staff gossip and chat about their personal lives right outside the door. read more

My daughter broke her leg at 9:00 pm and needed attention. The Frandoor Urgent Care was open so she went there. They got her in, finally, took an x-ray and told her she fractured her fibula. She wears a 7 &1/2 shoe. They put her in a boot which was for an 8 & 1/2 to 11 shoe size. Way too big. And some crutches. She then proceeded to get a referral for an Orthopedic Doctor. It was like pulling teeth. 1 week later they sent a referral but failed to send the X-RAY'S. Very incompetent staff and doctors report was trash. read more

The Frandor location is the only location around this area that is 24/7, which is exactly what we needed last night. My 3 year old spiked a high fever, and at 1AM we took her in. The staff was very kind to all of us and quick. They did the tests there, and the Dr let us know when he'd be leaving in case we needed to call and ask any questions. They also sent us home with stickers for her (even though she had fallen asleep), and a bucket for our car in case she got sick! I'm glad this location isn't to far from us, I know where we'll go again if we need too. read more

I went into this location sick, and the PA misdiagnosed my symptoms, and just blew me off and would not listen, I went to another health care provider today only to find out that I had bronchitis, sinus infection, I told this inexperienced PA that I had asthma, and have had several bouts with pneumonia, she did nothing for me, but offered cough medicine, she acted as though she didn't want to exam me, LUC you have to service all people, even when they don't look exactly like you, its not over, I wouldn't take my pet poodle to this PA, I am assuming the PA stands for Phony A******, LUC I truly believe if this PA continue this behavior, you will be faced with many lawsuits, God forbid if someone dies, they made me wait for hours, only to receive that kind of service, I thought it was a prank,HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. read more

I left feeling just as bad, basically gave me an inhaler and had me take like 5 test that wasn't covered by insurance AND THAT I DIDNT NEED. Left with limited medicine and had to go to the family doctor 2 days later because I wasn't treated properly. My REAL doctor gave me Flonase and an antibiotic which actually helped unlike this ready care, every time I go I leave without proper treatment so this is my last visit ever. they literally say hello and ask for your co-pay in the same breath.
