The first three times I came here, I had pretty good experiences. The fourth time, though, was a disaster. First, while I was waiting, another patient came in with a pretty serious laceration of the hand. Rather than take that patient into an exam room, they conducted triage standing in the doorway from the waiting room to the treatment area. Left bloody bandages lying on the carpet despite there being small children waiting in the area. Then, after being examined, I was assured they would send two prescriptions to my pharmacy. More than 24 hours later, they hadn't sent them, so I called to follow up. I was assured they would be sent "within the hour." Four hours later, still nothing, so I called again, only to be told they couldn't find any records of prescriptions to be submitted. Got a feeble excuse that the doctor on call can't follow up on what the previous doctor prescribes. To me, that's borderline malpractice. Any healthcare institution has to maintain adequate records so that if there's a problem downstream, they can trace the logic back to the diagnosis. NOT IMPRESSED...! And yes, I'm still waiting for a call back. read more

I would avoid going to Lansing Urgent Care at all costs. They have a policy where they stop taking walk ins 30 minutes prior to closing. That's totally fair and I understand why. However, in practice that rule is applied to whenever they want it to. I stopped in for a rapid covid test 45 minutes before closing, fully aware of their policy and was turned away. The receptionist was very rude and told me that they can deny any service at any time and that they were not going to test Me at that time. Now, I'll go somewhere else to go to tomorrow and I will never "bother" Lansing Urgent Care with my business ever again. read more

Everyone at the Dewitt location is very nice and friendly, can typically get in rather quickly. However, I am type 1 diabetic and told them that on my forms and with the medical assistant when I got back to the room. When a test came back negative, the doctor came in and said they would put me on a steroid for the inflammation. Luckily I am very skeptical and vigilant about caring for my diabetes. I have never taken steroids, so I asked "will steroids effect my blood sugar?" The doctor didn't know I had diabetes, even though it was on my chart and in my info - just didn't read it apparently. After telling him that, he said they couldn't give me steroids because it would prevent my body from processing my insulin properly and cause very high blood sugar. I'm glad I asked questions, most people wouldn't & the results could've been very bad. Just make sure you're diligent about asking any and all questions. read more

Went in for COVID test was told to sit with the general public even though I am showing COVID symptoms when politely asked how long the wait the receptionist rolled her eyes and was very rude telling other people with other illnesses were ahead of me she didn't know how long the wait was and told me I had to wait my turn. I am a receptionist at a medical office so first off you should not be speaking to people that way and if I have COVID should've been placed in a room not in the general public. Never again will I go to this facility as it's staff is rude and it's never quick it's slow and you are there for hours. I give this place a negative 20, terrible just terrible. read more

I really like the staff at the DeWitt location of Lansing Urgent Care. They are fairly quick and always friendly. Only thing I dislike about Lansing Urgent Care in general is that there are no phone numbers listed to the various branches online, only a one-stop number. This resulted in a twenty-minute phone call (and a LOT of frustration) to get an antibiotic changed due to a negative side-effect. I still like the doctors and staff in DeWitt, though. read more

We love this location. It's clean, the wait times are clear and the care is swift but thorough. Every single person has been kind and friendly. We have had broken bones to flu. I prefer this location to our primary care physician in the day to day happenings of life. read more

A simple TB test. Original wait time allowed for me to run an errand and return. Only to find I was taken off the list. Ok, I checked in again. Wait time posted 0-15 min- cool ! 1hr later no call back for a 3 minute TB test. Desk clerks unconcerned. I got my $$ back & left without what I needed. I've been to this urgent care a few times, and the one in Frandor. Every experience at this urgent care with a particular doctor has been awful. On the other hand, Frandor has been amazing every time. My one star isn't for Lansing Urgent Care as a whole, rather, one specific doctor. read more
