Still desperate, I started filling out credit applications to try to get approved. Meanwhile, my partner was looking up parts online. One of the main parts they claimed I needed? We found it for $287...yet they were quoting me nearly the cost of a whole new engine. Ridiculous. Thankfully, I got a second opinion. Another shop is doing the same work for a little over $1,500...a HUGE difference. And here's the kicker: they didn't charge me a dime for the diagnostic. I even showed them the $160 report I had already paid for, but they told me they had to run their own because those reports can be manipulated. And honestly, I don't blame them. Moral of the story? Due to a great cost the car was returned a few days later for the replacement of the other (2) tires. Upon arrival, Ms Ortiz, a manager accepted the car after I explained that tire situation. After about an hour & 1/2 the vehicle was now ready for check out. An Assistant Manager , Lala called out to close out the purchase. I have to say this location is in need of much better service to the customer. NO I mean NO manager, Supervisor or Cashier should ever be talking on the phone to a customer, be eating food(donuts), accept a walk in customer information while still on the phone. This behavior is totally unacceptable & a disrespect to both the customer on the phone & the customer standing before the Manager. It appears that much more training is needed here. Also, the cell phone was picked up & used while the customer was standing & patiently waiting. This was serious multitasking yet not at all appropriate or fair to the customers. Hopefully, these matters will be addressed & appropriate customer service will be provided as soon as possible. The environment was clean
