A separate company come in and do sod work. Nick rolled with it all! This was easily the best purchase of services and products I made in years. This all happened after I tried 4 times to get Lanoha to come out and just help me plan my project. We told them multiple times that we would be buying a lot of trees. This represented 4 separate trips to see them multiple phone calls we never even spoke to the person who would do this planning. Yano's is Great and so is Nick!

In every good way! My sister brought me here a few years ago and I've been able to frequent it more often lately. The Garden Gallery is a mix of a plant store fit with a greenhouse out back with the knowledge of the ever magical Michelle, an art store, from local artists in the area, and classroom, they also offer different plant and art classes for children and adults! The owner Michelle is magic. My sister and I attended a plant luncheon where we had lunch and discussed all of the new plants that were coming in last spring. She gave us a folder with helpful information on different flowers and plants, a packet of seeds, and gave us the option to order any at the end of the class. It was informative and fun! Michelle's daughter Anna is magic too. She offers art classes in the evenings and weekends for any one who wants to do something fun and learn. My nephew is a frequent student and enjoys coming here to tap into his creative side. Most recently, my sister and I attended a winter green arrangement class. It was definitely worth it and I'd sign up again next year too! We got to choose either an indoor or outdoor pot, greenery, and decorations to go with it! My snowman is an outdoor arrangement and my sister's reindeer is an indoor arrangement. Not only are their classes magical but just walking into the house is walking into a magical space. There's so many beautiful and unique items that doing a few loops will ensure you saw almost everything. I love that they support other local artists and farms by carrying their items here. I've purchased tea, coffee, handmade holiday headbands, handmade art work. There's something special for everyone. Depending on what you're looking for there really is something you can find at any budget! If you love supporting small businesses I highly suggest checking this magical place out! It is not on a main thoroughfare. Instead, it is hidden in downtown Elkhorn. The Garden Gallery itself almost blends in with the surrounding houses as the store is a house! If you enter into the house first, you will find local crafts on each level of the house. If you are looking for a gift, you will definitely find something inside this house! Each level is filled with beautiful items anyone would love! You can pretty much purchase anything in the home and they do have some house plants inside! When you step into the back AND front yard, you will see multitudes of garden decor. There are many whimsical things you can add to your garden to give it a burst of color! We had called head to ensure they had the sizes we were looking for, and they did! The kids and I perused the showroom while my husband did the heavy lifting (just kidding, a hard working staff member helped with that!) In and out just like that and we're happy!

The employee asked very loudly if he needed the scale to measure weed. He was loud enough that other customers stopped and looked. The employee then followed my relative all the way around the rest of the time until he left feeling very irritated. (I have worked retail and understand the need to follow some shoppers around.) Apparently, the unprofessional employee did not take into consideration that one of my relative's patients could be in the next aisle, let alone a management member or HR person from healthcare organization who could report this, putting the entire career of a responsible young man into ruins. Obviously, I am furious and will never shop there again! Yes, my relative did call to speak to the assistant manager who said she would let the store manager know. The assistant manager, who at the time overheard the comment, and said nothing at the time.

We came to the nursery to buy a tree. We spent almost 2 hours there and ended up not buying from…read morethem. We had looked for a specific tree that they said was in stock, turns out it wasn't. We settled on a river Birch after talking to a nice guy that was helping us out. He called the office and asked for a quote since we were in the ball and burlap section. I was quoted 219. after driving up to the office I was informed that the tree was actually 300 something. Later I was told that they could have a coffee tree shipped from Lincoln, at this point I was so frustrated with the whole experience that we left. I'll find my tree somewhere else.
