Not very pleased with the situation I faced. I wanted to surprise my wife with a couple flower pots. I went in and explained I wanted to pre-pay for the pots and pick them up a week later. A friendly gentleman helped me load them on a cart. There was no clearly marked price on them and my wife told me she saw the price marked on them the day before. Because I did not see a price, I asked if the price was XXX. I was told "yes sir." I then asked if there were any deals going on that day. He informed the cashier to give me a discount. A price tag was found at the very bottom of the planter that did not reflect the price that I had asked about. The cashier took care of me, I paid and went about my day. I was at home for about 30 minutes when I received a call from the gentleman that was helping me. He had informed me that he never told me a price when I felt that I had clearly asked and received a confirmation. I apologized for any miscommunication. He agreed to give me the price that I had originally asked about and I agreed to pay the difference when I went in to pick them up. When I picked up the planters I had apologized to the cashier as I felt like the staff was under the impression I was trying to rip them off. She was friendly and said it was no big deal. As I waited for someone to bring out the planters I was approached by 3 different associates who all asked if I had paid the remainder, 1 of which asked to see my receipt. This tells me the staff was on hi alert to make sure I paid. I am a man of my word and I feel like I was being treated as if I were some common thief. I don't think I will be going back, which is unfortunate as I have a large project in the making and was thinking about hiring the landscaping staff. At least my wife liked her planters. read more

Being first time homeowners (and tree purchasers), we had no idea what we were doing or looking for. The staff was great at helping us find the perfect tree for our back yard. After we found it, the installation process was a breeze! It's all included! We put our flag in the ground where we wanted our tree to go and they took care of the rest -- called the diggers line, installed it (aside from the tree, you couldn't even tell they had been there, and it was muddy out), and mulched it. It didn't even take them an hour. On top of that, their trees are guaranteed for 2 years. I can't say enough good things about them, we'll be back again!!! read more

I had superb service at Lanoha, my last visit. Lots of people greeted me or asked if I needed help. Went out of there way to mention that the flowers I was looking at were on sale. I went outside to look for a tree, and there I found awesome help. I was helped by Nicole, I thought she did great. She was helpful, knowledgable and carried the sale thru to the end. She made sure we had information about the care of the plant and then she made sure we got all loaded up. Tried calling 3 times, no answer during business hours. I went in after work to ask about their compost pricing and delivery, I had to talk to 3 people before I found someone that could actually give me information. I asked if they had a list of available trees, they said no but they had a few giant posters with some pictures. I then asked how much a certain tree was and they said they didn't know, they don't have a list of prices. And that I would have to go find the tree and look at the price on it. Out of 6 workers I talked to 5 of them were teenagers who didn't know anything about trees or compost. I won't be going back. read more

We took my daughter to see Santa here. Santa was amazing, and i couldnt have asked for a better environment. Its a little expensive, but one does get what they pay for. Their plants are always healthy and strong. read more

We purchased a 20 foot river birch tree. Were very happy at the time of the sale. When it came to notification for planting however, not the same story. We had to keep calling to find out when the tree would be planted. In the spring the top half of the tree was dead. Called to report. Took several weeks for them to come out and look at it and several more for them to replace it. No notification of when they would replace it, just showed up. First time were more careful and hauled the dirt away. Replacement time they left dirt all over in the yard that we had to clean up. Not impressed with their customer service and their prices are high! I do love their show room however. read more

We had Lanoha's come out and draw up plans for our front yard. We worked with Pat Woods and were so happy with his customer service. He heard our needs, gave suggestions, educated up on the trees/plants he put in, etc. Even a year later, he checked in with us to see if we were still happy with the design and the growth. He even replaced a couple plants that didn't make it through the winter, without charge. Pat had great follow-up and I would highly recommend him to anyone! read more

Love this place. Brought in a clipping from a flowering pear tree and within 10 minutes they helped me understand what the issue is and plan how to protect the rest of my trees now, and what to do to help my pear trees in the spring. Now I'm going to wander the green houses and buy a few herbs for my kitchen window garden. read more

We purchased a tree from Lanoha in August of last year. This summer we had a bad storm with strong winds. The winds bent our tree over and cracked it a little. I called Lanoha the next day to see if I could get some advice on what to do with it. The first time I called all they told me was "Sorry, we can't help you.". I waited and called again the next day hoping I would get someone else. I ended up calling back two more times. Each of those times they took my name and phone number and said they would have someone call me back. It never happened. I called another nursery that we purchase plants from and they had one of the owners on the phone within two minutes helping me. And we didn't even buy the tree there and they knew that! Last time I shop at Lanoha!!! read more

I recently had Lanoha do some landscaping at my home and was seriously disappointed. It was a $4000.00 job which was probably small to them but pretty big to me. The landscape designer seemed to be knowledgeable which is what I needed since I am not. I wanted to create something interesting in my front yard and her ideas sounded great but turned out to be as blah as what I could have done myself. The biggest problem was that there was a total lack of supervision. The people actually doing the work were pretty much on their own as my designer spent no more than an hour with them in the two days they were here. A lot of my project was cleanup and reworking so her lack of interest in even being around resulted in lots of wasted time and redoing. I planned this project so that pre-emergent for weeds could be done before they got a foothold. I did see one of the workers start out with a half empty bag (I paid for a 20# bag) so needless to say I now have weeds sprouting everywhere in my flower beds. When I got my final bill it included a comment card which I returned with my payment. To date, not one person from Lanoha's has contacted me. Since I paid I am sure they don't really care that I was not happy with the job done. I had planned other projects for later in the year but will certainly not consider them. read more

I called on a Thursday saying that I bought two lilac bushes last year and they died but didn't have the receipt. The woman said she would have to ask someone what they could do and they would call back. After about 10 minutes another woman called back saying that they could give me store credit for them.
