However, there is one employee (a male with long-ish wavy hair, likely in his mid-30s) who clearly knows his products but often delivers suggestions in a tone that comes across as condescending and judgmental. I'm sharing this only as constructive feedback, as I otherwise have had very positive experiences and appreciate the store and team.

Even a red cedar 4x4x10' will be $20 less than what you'll get at Menards or Home Depot. And that is just on one piece of wood. Plus, it feels like they take care of their employees as I see some of the same people and this is from shopping here multiple years. There are other things offered here that are from different manufactures too like doors, interior hinges, etc.

This month the shower faucet was leaking. $3.99 kit of washers combined with Mark telling me which ones to try first. In 30 minutes, the leaking was fixed. He has done this multiple times. I literally search the internet for how tos and Amazon for products to fix a problem, then look at Mark's site online to see what they have in stock and buy it Settergren's of Linden Hills instead. It just needed an adjustment to the choke... Fantastic hardware store!

Unfortunately, I was…read morenot a happy camper because I had to wait full two months to get a new rear wheel replaced because they said they couldn't get the wheel because it was not available anymore. So they ended up using a wheel for a different brand of mower to replace the broken one. My mower was finally fixed after waiting two months. Meanwhile, on July 2026 I returned there again because the two rear wheels on the mower busted and were no good. One of these wheels they recently replaced back in May. This time they first told me the rear wheels couldn't get ordered because they are not available. I requested Minneapolis Saw to get rid of the lawn mower and I would buy a new one. They did not do as I asked. Instead, I find out a few days later that they were able to order the wheels in. I find this out after spending $600 on a new mower. Now, I am paying the full cost of fixing the old mower which ran around $226 after parts and labor. This was a terrible experience for myself because these idiots changed their story. All I get is the runaround. They say one thing and mean another. I would strongly advise customers to go elsewhere for any repairs.
