Great learning center. Olga, who is the founder, is very responsive and accommodating. She strives to take into account everyone's interests when there is some scheduling conflict which I greatly appreciated. My kids took Russian classes and made good progress in a short period of time. There was pertinent homework, class discussions which all helped improving the language. I asked them for two weeks of full-day English lessons for my kids in Japan and it was a totally nice experience for them. They have a nice and secure facility. They tried to keep them safe during their school. They assigned various teachers for them so that my kids get wider communication and learning. I signed up my daughter for the Math summer class program. Olga was very responsive and accommodative to my questions and worked with me on scheduling. LMLC has made such a difference for my child. My 8- year old takes Spanish classes with Manuel. Her skills have greatly improved and she is much more confident in Spanish since attending LMLC. My 10-year-old and 12-year-old took an eight-session creating writing summer class together and both enjoyed it and learned new writing techniques. The curriculum was comprehensive and challenging both at their own level. Teacher Amber provided practical lectures, clear instructions on homework, and constructive feedback on each finished assignment. LMLC is easy to work with and flexible in accommodating our hectic summer schedule. I am taking my time to write this review due to my great experience with Olga (the owner) who quickly responded to my email asking about the Italian course that I am interested in taking during the covid-19. She provided detailed information in email and phone conversations. She then assigned the instructor named Paola who is a native Italian to reach me and arrange an initial consultation. In the first 5 - 10 minutes conversation between Paola and I, I told myself that I like this instructor. She told me about the Italian culture, the right word to use when I talk to the elder or to the younger. She also told me the areas in Italy that I should visit for my next trip. She also thought me some Italian words during this introduction which was lasted almost an hour with "no fee". I really like her teaching style and how she is always on top of the homework and also a great communicator. I am so happy with this learning center and how Olga treats her customers. My 2 kids have been taking language classes at LMLC for over 4 years. So far, our experience has been stellar. The management goes out of its way to customize the learning experience to fit each child's particular needs. The teachers are matched based on the student's personality, academic goals, and learning style. For example, my older daughter does better with a stricter, more disciplined approach and needs to be constantly academically challenged to keep her engaged. The younger one benefits more from a softer, more playful style of learning. Olga found the best teachers for each of them, and the girls have been making great progress. My daughter attended Creative writing and Math Logic, and Ms.Kate and Mr.Andre are wonderful teachers. They keep it interesting all through the hour and also keep it creative. My 7 year will be going to 2nd grade this august and she learnt a lot with fun at the same time with focus.A class like environment although online where the kids are competing at the same time learning together. My boys (7 and 9 y.o.) have been taking Russian lessons with Olga for about 6 month now. I am very pleased with the progress they are making. I feel like they are steadily climbing up the learning curve. Their vocabulary has expanded and I am pleasantly surprised with their willingness to work with Olga in the classroom and me, when we do our homework. I am emphasizing "the willingness" here, because it was a struggle before, when they were taking Russian elsewhere. We tried 2 teachers before. They were tears and drama before every class. They didn't want to go there, they did not want to do their homework. My daughter began taking Geometry lessons at Language and Math Learning Center a few months ago. Math has always been a difficult subject for her, and she was struggling to keep up in class. Her tutor, Teja Sripada, has been very helpful explaining and practicing concepts, preparing for tests and generally encouraging her. I even received a note from the teacher commenting how much my daughter had improved in Geometry! My daughter will also be working on Spanish over the summer with a different tutor. Olga the owner has been very proactive about checking in to make sure the service was meeting our needs. My son have been taking Russian lessons with Olga, the owner of the Language and Math Learning center, for almost a year and my son enjoys every lesson. Our daughter started taking Russian language classes at Language and Math Learning center last September, one month later we moved to US from Russia (Saint-Petersburg). We wanted her to learn by playing and keep her having fun while learning to support the huge interest towards Russian culture and language and to provide a smooth transition to a new environment. It was pretty tough to find a Russian language teacher who was not only able to follow this approach without heaping extreme amounts of academic pressure but also was capable to provide a solid knowledge base. So finally we found Olga, the owner of Languages and Math Learning Center. Olga is very patient and affectionate and has a great rapport with all of the kids. My six-year-old daughter has been learning Russian at the Center for over a year now. The best indicator for me of the success of the teacher is how eager the students are to come to the class. If my child keeps asking during summer break "when are we going back to Olga?", I consider it a big deal. At the Center, kids learn through games in a no pressure engaging environment and manage to cover a lot! My daughter's Russian reading skills significantly boosted her ability to start reading in English. My two boys who are 9 y.o. and 13 y.o. have been taking Russian lessons with Victoria for about 4 month. We are very pleased with the results. Considering the fact that boys had a very limited knowledge of Russian, just in 4 month they are able to read and uderstand simple texts.
