Throughout my college career I have tried it all and nothing came close to my experience with Tutor Me LA. They are kind, caring, and the tutors are excellent. I even referred Tutor Me LA to my niece who increased 200 points on her SAT! The educational director WORKS WITH YOU and that is why I love them. It was far more than finding me a tutor, but they really got to know me and went to great lengths to ensure I did well and that is something that is rare and deserves to be appreciated. Thank you Tutor Me LA for your help, students like myself truly need your service and you all are doing a great job at ensuring that quality is not sacrificed. Shout out to Melissa, Scott, and Jared for always putting up with me and my last minute request and emails asking questions off the clock. You are all absolutely amazing! Another a great experience!

The threats are scary and I honestly believe they should be stopped."

I was a little nervous for my sister because she gets really embarrassed when she can't understand something but with Tamara she was so comfortable. She has had about 8 sessions with Tamara and her grades are already improving. My little sister loves working with her and this makes me really happy! In just eight weeks, Noelle completely transformed her relationship with the subject. Not only did our daughter raise her grade by an entire letter grade before the end of the school year, but more importantly, she regained her confidence and belief in herself. Noelle has a remarkable ability to connect with students, identify exactly where they're struggling, and make challenging concepts feel relatable. I want her to…read moregenuinely enjoy learning, receive an elevated education, and be taught in a way that honors her individual learning style. Because of that, I am extremely selective about who I invite into her educational experience. A+ Tutoring has truly become part of my team, and I could not be more grateful. From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional support and customer service. What has impressed me most is how thoughtfully they match each child with a tutor. They genuinely take the time to understand your child's learning style, personality, needs, and goals rather than simply assigning a tutor. And if something ever needs to be adjusted, they address it immediately. In my experience, they don't just solve the issue, they somehow manage to outdo themselves in the process. Mandy and Janelle, their incredible tutor matchmakers, are exceptional. They are attentive, responsive, intuitive, and truly invested in finding the right fit for your child. I have felt incredibly supported throughout the process. And then there is our tutor, Sonya Karl, who is EXTRAORDINARY. Sonya is deeply child-centered, incredibly intelligent, emotionally intelligent, patient, warm, and genuinely gifted at connecting with children. She has such a beautiful heart, and it is evident in the way she teaches. The most meaningful measure for me is this: my daughter is not only excelling academically, she genuinely looks forward to her tutoring sessions with Sonya. That says everything. Finding the right people to support your child's education is such an important decision, especially when you are homeschooling and creating an educational experience around your child rather than asking your child to fit into a system. A+ Tutoring understands that. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found them, and even more fortunate that they connected us with Sonya. They have earned my trust, my gratitude, and my highest recommendation.

My biggest regret is doing Barbri the first time around and not Jay's personal bar prep. Jay helped me write the way the testers want to see, supported me, broke down the law in easy to comprehend ways, and helped me put this test behind me. He gives you all the material you will need and you don't need anything else from any other bar prep company. The weekly lessons with everyone are very helpful not just for review but also seeing other students in the same boat as you because bar prep can be very isolating. Jay got me over the hump, if you have to take the California bar again or want a tutor Jay is your guy! Jays moto is 1. Study "memorize the rules" 2.Practice do a bunch of MBE sets and essays he gives you more than enough of real questions not made up confusing ones (cough Barbri) and 3. Review every mbe you get wrong and big issues you miss in the essays. A huge game changer for me was to type or copy Jays easy to comprehend answer explanations for any question I got wrong and then record myself reading them and listening to them. I also recorded Jays rule statement sheets which are a secret weapon for the essays and would listen to them on my daily walks. This shot my MBE percentages up and helped me memorize more rules for essays. Finally this process is tough. You will get through it day by day, little by little. Jay built the program very very well to where you will peak right before the test. Don't study the day before test you will be ready! Good luck!
