The post office section appears to be run by the same people as the newsagents, but then i suppose that makes sense, it's just annoying as you have to faff arround a bit if you want to buy a chocolate bar as well as getting something posted or such like. They offer the usual range of services as in all sub post offices so you can post your parcels, buy stamps, etc etc. Doesn't tend to get too busy from what i have seen but i may not have visited at peak times - only been in there a couple of times. In my opinion, just as good as all other sub post offices - it does the job!

It was revamped in about 2001 and set out like a sandwhich shop and coffee house with comfy chairs and lounging area. The place did all your ussual villag shop stuff.sweets, soft drinks and the such. But the owners are what made it so great. You werent felt pressured to get your tuck and go cus there were 400 other kids behind you, but take your timeand if you were in the 6th form, stay around and drink some coffee and have tutorials. This place is one the founder memories of my time at boarding schooland from what i hear, its still very much the same

One member of staff was both inefficient and incredibly rude to me recently and it's put me right off going there, even though it's convenient. It's nowhere near as friendly as it was and I wouldn't say it was quicker, either.
