The ladies who work here are ever-cheerful and helpful, and are excellent at getting to know their regular customers. If you come here more than a couple of times you will end up feeling like a very valued regular customer - they're just lovely! We drop in here regularly to pick up stamps, send parcels, and sometimes with a whole stack of E-Bay sales to send off. Whether you come in for one stamp or with a pile of parcels, the welcome will always be warm and genuine and your transaction will be treated with attention and interest. Nothing fazes these ladies!

One member of staff was both inefficient and incredibly rude to me recently and it's put me right off going there, even though it's convenient. It's nowhere near as friendly as it was and I wouldn't say it was quicker, either.

They have recently refurbished and now looks alot cleaner and fresher. Now they have 2 counters but only 1 is open as they only have one member of staff. The lady who runs the post office is very friendly and welcoming. she is also helpful and knowledgable of the products and services the post office offers. I find that this branch can be busy on pension day and at the end of the month when car tax is due bit i'm sure this is true in all post offices.

It was revamped in about 2001 and set out like a sandwhich shop and coffee house with comfy chairs and lounging area. The place did all your ussual villag shop stuff.sweets, soft drinks and the such. But the owners are what made it so great. You werent felt pressured to get your tuck and go cus there were 400 other kids behind you, but take your timeand if you were in the 6th form, stay around and drink some coffee and have tutorials. The post office section appears to be run by the same people as the newsagents, but then i suppose that makes sense, it's just annoying as you have to faff arround a bit if you want to buy a chocolate bar as well as getting something posted or such like. They offer the usual range of services as in all sub post offices so you can post your parcels, buy stamps, etc etc. Doesn't tend to get too busy from what i have seen but i may not have visited at peak times - only been in there a couple of times. In my opinion, just as good as all other sub post offices - it does the job!
