On my last exam my hygienist, Rebecca recommended that I get a night guard as I have been grinding my teeth which has required restorative work. I was putting off having the night guard made as I have anxiety when it comes to impressions. I entered the office and was greeted by Jen, at the front desk. I waited a few minutes when Althea (dental assistant) lead me back to the room where the impressions were going to be done. She explained to me what she was going to be doing and how long it would take for the procedure. It only took her a few minutes to do my impressions. The day came for my first appointment at Cedar View Dental with Dr. Jonnes, and as soon as I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. That day they took X-rays and Dr. Jonnes went over options and a plan for future care and appointments. Second appointment was for teeth cleaning and the hygienist was fantastic. Third and most recent appointment was the first big test - fillings. I was scared and nervous, but all that changed within a few minutes. I felt no discomfort whatsoever! After getting stitches at urgent care, Dr. Cho and two of his team members got me in after hours to begin the repair process. He was able to remove one tooth and put in some cadaver bones, and shave the other two down. They were able to order me a temporary tooth until I'm able to get a full transplant matching my tooth color. He also was able to get me an additional appointment within 36 hours for the crowns needed on my other teeth. Addressing my injury aside, Dr. Cho was a calming and gentle presence in a very traumatic time. He worked with my husband and I on insurance and billing, answered all our questions and talked us through the process. We are extremely thankful!
