What a joke of a facility. First they sent me a text message twice asking to text respond "C" to…read moreconfirm. They send me a message back saying it's been confirmed, called me the next day while I was at work, and because I didn't answer sent me a message saying "Your appointment has been canceled, we require phone call verbal confirmations." So I called to get in the next day, I was scheduled at 4:40pm. EVERYBODY who checked in after my daughter went in before her. I checked the status of my daughter TWICE and was told "They are calling her back next". But three additional patients went back after asking this. Finally I hear the receptionist whisper to one of the dental assistants "Uh that patient is still out here" and they immediately took me back....90 MINUTES LATER. Clearly they forgot her. Unacceptable. I will not be taking my children back here. Amazes me that this place is still open and operating.

my son who is severe autistic and six years old, went there today to be sedated to have multiple…read moreteeth work done and let's just start off by saying for one there was nobody who got a hold of the previous night me know what's gonna be happening tomorrow when I bring him there not one person text me to let me know anything so I went in blind today not knowing what was gonna happen and boy in for not only was I blinded and didn't know what was going on, but it was my first kids under for their teeth to be done. There was no when I brought him to the dentist chair. They didn't tell me anything to do. Besides the nurse. She said one thing to hold his arm she would hold his feet and the dentist person would put the mask and I told them I didn't do and it hurt my heart, but nobody said anything that just kept holding and then I started son to try to calm him down and he starts falling asleep and I start crying and then the dentist guy says something about us pushing him over a little bit so he doesn't fall off so he does and I'm crying still and either one of them had asked me if I was OK either one of them had tried to reassure me that you know he was fine or whatever the case may be he started breathing all heavy, and I asked him if it was normal for him to be breathing like that they just told me to go to the waiting room and didn't at all once comfort me. Try to inform me on anything that was going on. They just told me to go to the waiting room so I walk out to the waiting nurse doctors nobody stopped and asked if I'm OK I has to granted nobody is legally forced to ask anybody who is crying if they are OK but being in their line of work, knowing that my child put to sleep and then I it off for so long because I was so scared night literally had said that in my last appointment that I went to and that is a reason one of the reasons why I canceled because I was so scared but think that working in a business like that that's some serious stuff like comfort a mom if you see them crying and you know their being sedated you know let reassure them that their gonna be OK instead I waiting room for like three did I get an update about my son and I asked not once did anybody come out to tell me that he was doing good or this or that or no kind of communication with me whatsoever so three hours go they finally up to sign something and then they to come to the back and he's ready for me so I go all the way to the back and the dentist guy pulls the mask off and tells me to pick him up and carry him to the room across the hall and I got scared because he looked like he was halfway awake, but he wasn't his eyes were kinda open and he was like moving all crazy so it scarred is scaring me and then he still had his total things that controlled his pulse connected to his toe or foot or whatever it was, and it started beeping real fast and he started moving on crazy so the dentist guy pulls out his stethoscope and his neck for a good five minutes, not saying one word and I asked him multiple times if he was OK I started crying again and like he just kept making sure like checking back-and-forth back-and-forth on his neck and then it was just a horrible all out all the way around I pick them up after I get seven dentist listening to his I'm guessing on his I pick him up. He starts out, freaking out coming out of the anesthesia so like trying to pick out his face trying to get my hand to help him get whatever's in his mouth out and they just leave me and they don't tell me what to do. They don't show me what to do. They don't tell me what's going on or why he's acting like that and I can keep going on, but I'm pretty sure this is long enough so I will never ever of my children to by in Chico because how unprofessional they were how much they lack Communication to me how much I felt like I didn't have no choice, but to sit there and cry because none of the nurses none of were there to reassure me and let me know that my son was OK or this was going on no updates no nothing so please don't take your kids to if they're going under for anesthesia I have never ever been treated like that life I've never felt so sad and so my knocked out on anesthesia and not being able to help him knowing that there's doctors all around me and nobody tells me Sorry for such a long post.

I first have to admit that Dr. Spaulding is clearly a knowledgeable man but the person who works…read morethe front desk and along side him during exams was much more pleasant than he was. I came in as a new patient and hoping to take care of a couple teeth that were becoming increasingly more sensitive due to the cavities they had. My mouth was in pretty bad shape and I already knew that going in. I was reminded of that fact several times throughout the short visit and he ultimately came across as dismissive and uninterested. They have a decent energy in the office (no real rudeness of any kind) but the visit definitely felt rushed. He also told me what he was going to be doing to my teeth rather than asking me what I was able to afford to do (since I lack insurance). He insisted that I get a couple teeth removed by an oral surgeon first (who I have recently set up a consultation with under Dr. Spaulding's advice) before I could get any other work done. This is understandable if the other teeth that need removal are somehow in the way of further treatment. I'm a college student with a limited income and I was going to be paying completely out of pocket so I was hoping to get a few teeth worked on at a time - that was never an option. His practice insisted I get them all done at once. He also insisted that the longer I wait, the worse my teeth will get - which I completely know & understand but how can I do that if I can't afford to get them done all at once? Why not help me handle the one's that were giving me immediate trouble and that I could afford to deal with at the time? After receiving this news, he left in a haste and seemed insistent that I immediately leave. I paid and left the office. It was a discouraging visit. At this point, I have thankfully raised the money I need to fix all of my teeth at his office (several thousand dollars worth of work) but I don't think I'll be returning. Even though I'm somewhat established here, I will most likely take my business elsewhere and get established there. I've seen a lot of positive reviews on here, and that may have been the experience for most people but it definitely wasn't mine. This is the first time I've felt inclined to share a review about any service I've ever received but I felt like it needed to be shared. Anyways, best of luck to anyone reading this.

He is technically provicient, personable, and caring. The support staff are easy to communicate with and make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.
