Absolutely terrible dental experience here, told me i had cavities in between my teeth when it was really just staining that needed cleaning. but that's not even the wost part, the drilled in between my teeth and filled it to what dr dadbeh that was enough but not even enough filling to fill the gaps she had put between my teeth!! after leaving my appointment i could feel a noticeable gap in my teeth that was not there before so much so that the sharpness of my non filled tooth was cutting my tongue 0/10 could not recommend less, also very rude and aggressive staff that didnt even know where their own tools were half the time. 2 stars because staff was nice and the new location is nice... ONLY 2 stars because I went in with a dental emergency in extreme pain and they told me I would have to wait a month and half to get taken care of. This was also a tooth they had previously worked on and may have been the reason there were issues; the dentist said it just needed another filling when in actuality it needed a root canal. They also make it impossible to get your records. When I went in they gave me an X-ray and I couldn't get the copy's for the new dentist or my personal records. Since I had to get new dentist to get it taken care of in a reasonable time my insurance wouldn't cover the new X-rays it so I had to pay out of pocket for them. I'm now a patient at Chico Dental Group and couldn't recommend them more! read more

Gridley clinic is absolutely useless, poorly run Wrent in with heart concern, EKG machine was broken, doctor didn't have a stethoscope, had an 11 am appointment and was never seen, left at 11:45. Lost paperwork. I will be going elsewhere and telling everyone I know to avoid this clinic. read more

I understand dental offices can get busy, but I was very disappointed with our experience today. Our appointment was scheduled for 7:00 AM, we arrived at 6:55 AM, yet my child was not seen until almost 8:00 AM. Being delayed an entire hour without proper communication. This caused a major disruption to my family's morning and prevented me from taking my other children to school on time. I understand unexpected delays happen, but when patients arrive on time for early appointments, there should also be respect for their schedules and responsibilities. Better communication and time management would have made a big difference. read more

Probably the worst choice for dental care you could make. You're far better off paying actual money for REAL dentists and healthcare workers. After going in for a deep gum cleaning which I "needed" I experienced very horrible and severe complications. My gums wouldn't stop bleeding and after going back for care they told me they "didn't know what was wrong" with me and I was basically told to go to a real human doctor. They took no accountability for their actions, told me I was the problem, and said to leave. After waiting around for HOURS choking on my own blood they kicked me out for something they caused. Not to mention the terrible service offered here. Never go here! Save your time and your health and pay for a real dentist!!! read more

So i just want to make it clear the front desk and reception staff was very kind very sweet especiall ythe male who was at window 5/6 in rapid care around 11AM, very sweet and respectful. Now the nurse who called me in under Dr. Lindsay (she was skinny, dark brown almost black curly hair was very abrasive. I didnt feel acknowledged as a person, very "step on the scale. Get on the bed. Give me your arm" and i was supposed to be a new patient to ampla. I am also terrified of going to the doctors and hate doctors because they automatically assumed i had an issue because of the way i look and the size i am. I was already embarrassed for the reason i came in which was a boil on my mons pubis area. So you can imagine how much more awkward i felt with a very...abrupt nurse. I did make a complaint about this however i didnt make a complaint about Dr. Lindsay which i probably should have, because she came in and asked whats going on and i told her pretty typical then i got a little confused because she said "well how do you want me to look at it" which kinda through me off because all im thinking is: is there any other way to look at it besides taking my pants off?, so i took my pants off and lifted my xtomach and at first all she saw was my stomach rash and said "you have a yeast infection" which im fat its common and i try to take care of it. But thats not what i was there for so i lifted the right side to show a boil head (which ive gotten boils my whole life i know what they feel like) and she just kinda poked it and mumbled something along the lines of "it probably hurts because its open" which ma'am theres no way you just said that, a boil feels better after its been open or released st this one is hard as a rock and doesnt have a pus head, but it is a boil head. Ive never ever felt more dismissed in my life. She basically took 2 minutes to examine me (INCLUDING THE BOIL) and basically said: heres a predcription for for a yeast infection, be on your way. Not even enloe has dismissed me so harshly. One took out back after my car. I called my insurance company and asked them to switch me back to Adventist. I was going to apply for primary care with ampla, but I refuse to after that experience. read more

The dentist always treats me with care and not only myself but my entire family gets seen here and they really are very attentive and kind people they always have met my needs and are really good with kids ! Would definitely recommend them to anyone I know ! 10/10 read more

Diagnosed as having three cavities and needing Deep Cleaning. Went to another dentist, who recognized the "cavities" as black stains and said no Deep Cleaning was necessary. Hygenist removed the black stains and cleaned the teeth. So glad we got a second opinion! Saved us hours in the dental chair and a lot of pain. I will never go back. I just don't understand why a dentist would say a Deep Cleaning was necessary when it was not needed. read more

I LOVE this dentists office. I have had to go numerous times over the last six months to get work done and every time I feel heard and taken care of. The doctor is so thorough and the dental assistants always make me laugh and feel comfortable. I love the group of ladies at Ampla! Thank you guys! read more

Unfortunately dentists who take Medical will be the bottom of the barel. Those who don't take Medical charge an arm and a leg. It is frustrating that those of us who can't afford high premiums for crap dental insurance that doesn't cover much or we are stuck with crap dentists who take Medical. I will update after I see them as there are no choices of Dentists in this area. read more

Had a wonderful experience today at the dentist which is usually a bad experience for me. The doctor was awesome very down to earth and the girl that took my x-rays was the same very good people I am actually looking forward to going back next week. Strict yet conflicting and confusing office policies, rude office staff and slow computer system.

I have needed to use this office 7-8 times in the past few years ....I have no insurance so being retired on SSI I qualify for their sliding scale discount which makes it more affordable for me....the office staff have always been professional the doctors and assistants all seem to know what their doing if I have any complaint it would be not enough dentists so there isn't as much waiting time between appointments.....yesterday when I asked the office staff to call me a taxi she informed me Ampla offers a FREE shuttle service WHAT A NICE SURPRISE ..no more waiting up to 3 hours for a cab to get back home after appointments because of POOR taxi service .....AMPLA you may not be doing everything right ..but you seem to be trying ..... read more

I have had nothing but problems with these guys. I went to them initially because I had a small infection in my gum. I was given an antibiotic for the infection and given an appointment for an evaluation as to what I needed to have done. Well they actually gave me an appointment for lunch time when the office was closed. I had to drive an hour to get to the appointment and was not happy to have to leave. So I drove the hour back to my house without seeing anyone. When I called them about it the receptionist tried to make it out that it was my fault for showing up for the time they gave me the appointment, telling me that they had a sign on the door saying when their lunch break was. I told her I was surprised that they could not read their own sign since they are the ones who made the appointment over the phone and it was them that made it for me! Maybe they should have read their own sign before making an appointment with me.Then because I had missed that appointment due to that fiasco, they gave me another appointment for next week. Well after I had spoken to her I realized that the antibiotics they had given me were going to run out. So I called them back and told them to please see if they would refill the prescription so it would last until next week when I had my appointment. I called them numerous times the next 2 days with no response back and finally out of desperation and frustration, called to make an appointment with them again. I figured that they would at least not ignore my refill request if I went to see them in person. So I make an appointment for Friday afternoon and drive the hour that it takes for me to get there. I was met at the door by the lady with the thermometer and she says I have a temperature. She took it twice and said because I have a temperature they will not see me! Well duh! I have had a mouth infection for over a month now and it makes sense that I have a temperature. That is a bad sign for anyone with an infection as it means it is getting worse. But due to their non concern or incompetence I am now dealing with a very bad infection that did not have to be that way and a fever! This is beyond ridiculous. I am NOT going back. They seem to want to schedule people over and over and not treat them so they can keep billing insurance. And in the meantime people like me are being put at risk of sickness because of their lack of actually wanting to help with dental problems. If they had acted right away when I first went to them I would not have to deal with this. Stay away! These guys are dangerous! read more

If you can go somewhere else, do it. The dentist there refilled a root canal. By the way if one dentist sees you on consultation and another is assigned to do your dental work run away as fast as you can. It did not make sense to me. I should have went with my gut feeling and left. read more

The staff is really lovely. Medi-cal dentistry is impacted and it's hard to get an appointment, but once you get in, they are really good people (at least the ones employed now). Siri and Daniel I have worked with so far, and they make me feel very comfortable and are wonderfully personable. When they numbed my face for a filling, and the file hurt so bad, they made sure i had all the pain killers i needed and were very kind and considerate, working together as staff and a team for my benefit. Again, they are impacted, so making appointments can sometimes be difficult... but if you tell them what you want and need, they will comply, and the two dentists i worked with were very kind and communicative. Getting mouth work done is never fun, but they make it better. read more

Terrible dentist office!! I made a appointment to get a cyst removed from the inside of my lip and when I got there they took me back, and made me wait for a long time in the dentist chair. Then a dentist came back and told me that they do not remove cysts there, I am beyond pissed because they let me make a appointment and they knew why they were seeing me, all that just to turn me away. My personal opinion is that they had me come in so that they could bill my insurance and get a easy payday!!! Please save yourself some time and DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! read more
